Our family found Ken Silver after a protracted and complicated probate matter that had taken years. Once Ken was on board he was able to negotiate a very satisfactory resolution in a matter of weeks. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of probate and trust law, an excellent negotiator, and a very personable man. I would not hesitate to recommend Ken, and if the need ever arose, i would certainly hire him again.

I told him I had more than 2 misdemeanors so I wouldn't be able to get my record expunged and he still soaked me $50 to run my record and say he couldn't help me

When you meet members of the Hertz Schram Family, normally something in your life has gone awry. This happened to my family and after going through several other attorneys with only costs, and no resolve to the issue we met Ken Silver. It was a pleasure dealing with Ken because he gave us the correct and concise information to make decisions and ultimately was able to solve our dilemma in a very short period of time. If we ever find ourselves in another situation like the one we found ourselves in, our first call will be to the Hertz Schram Family.

My sister and I retained Mr. Silver in 2020 for a family probate matter, Mr. Silver is very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and supportive. We felt comfortable with Mr. Silver, and really felt he looked out for our best interests. We would highly recommend Mr. Silver to anyone looking for a skilled probate attorney.

Horrible experience. Another typical firm that will pad hours and do nothing. Hired them for an important legal matter that they assured me they would resolve after a “free” consultation. A partner then assigned it to a junior lawyer. Bait and switch. They made 1 phone call, left Vmail, then wrote me a letter saying it wasn’t worth the time and there wasn’t much of an issue in their opinion. Right, it’s just my life, not that important. Sent me a bill for $2000+. Padded the bill by charging me for the partners initial consultation. Tried to contact them to resolve but just kept getting sent to their billing dept. they wouldn’t adjust the bill. When I refused to pay it they came after me. Beware. More like Hertz Scam.

Had a legal issue that multiple attorneys at different law firms couldn't help with. Two calls to Jerry Cavellier and we were squared away with a plan of action to deal with the issue. If we have legal issues to work though again Jerry and Hertz Schramm will be at the top of our to call list.

Ken was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, and well organized. He settled a contentious dispute for me - obtaining a much better result than I had offered in previous negotiations. I highly recommend him and his firm.

Worked with this firm since 1999 - They look out for your best interests! I trust them and I know they don't take advantage of me with padding billing hours. I don't know if they will see this, but I just want to say Thank You Hertz Schram!
