My first reaction to the letter was that it was a scam. Eventually I googled the topic and found that it was legit and considered doing it myself. The more I looked into it, I felt it was going to be very cumbersome for me to navigate the process so ended up calling this firm. They were very professional, easy to work with and delivered the check to me (less their fee) exactly as they said and in the time frame they said. Was worth their fee to get a nice sized check with 1-2 quick phone calls.

Hey there! Yup, don't be alarmed by the letter you got from Ryan. It's very real! Call and they can explain the tax refund and why it exists! It worked for us!

Not a scam! Give them a call and get your $$$ :). I ignored the letters I received from Ryan D.Nephew Attorneys at Law for THREE years. I thought “no way is this legit. It Has to be a scam. Of course I will have to pay some thing, nothing is for free!” But one day I got the letter and thought “eh, give them a call. Everyone I spoke to was kind, courteous and professional. I had to fill out a power of attorney so they could receive the check on my behalf from the state of Michigan. They assured me I would not have to pay anything out-of-pocket that they would keep a portion of the money that was due back to me. So. I gave them one phone call, completed that one form and scanned it over to the office…..a few weeks later I received an $850 check. They kept $425 for their legwork. Had I known how to do this I could have received a refund for the full $1275. But $850 in my pocket with no legwork was well worth a phone call.

I received one of those "you may be owed" mailers from this law firm. Not believing it was legit (and having time to kill), I called them. I was pleasantly surprised at the professional, pleasant conversation I had with one of the attorneys of the firm. I did not end up pursuing any business with them, but would consider doing so in the future if need be.

Ryan Nephew sent me a letter in the mail saying I qualified for some sort of tax refund for selling my home. Without him I would've never known. He deserves the percentage of the refund that he earns, solely do to him researching and contacting me. It is effortless for the seller. He sends you paperwork to sign and you send it back. THAT IS ALL IT TAKES!!! Here contacted me when he received the refund and told me my check was in the mail! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY CONTACT HIM IF YOU HAVE SOLD A HOUSE IN THE LAST 4 YEARS OR SO! Thank you again Ryan! I will spread the good word!!!

Well I’ve received letters from this office for over 3 years and thought it was nonsense and just an info grab. After doing a little research I found the office to be a reputable one. After corresponding with the office a few times. I received a check a few weeks later. Thanks Ryan and team.
