6/16/23: Paul Scott is a professional Scam Artist. This law firm has absolutely conned and scammed me over 6,000 dollars to settle a child custody case & child support. Almost 8 months and I have gotten NOWHERE. It's very unfortunate I trusted Paul Scott & Rachel Smith and individuals in his office to help me and be an advocate for my daughter. 59.00 for a phone call where they call YOU and ask YOU questions about your own case? DO NOT TRUST OR HIRE THIS LAW FIRM unless you want to lose thousands of dollars! I had to hire another attorney to get my case actually going somewhere. My new attorney even said that it was a complete disgrace to read my file and to see what this firm had done to me and to actually call themselves lawyers. He even had the audacity to email me personally and criticize me after I released them as my attorneys. I would post that email but I'm sure they could/would use it against me. I'll update on my case when I can. UPDATE: 8/18/23 Matthew Harris of Brighton and his team are amazing! He has been nothing but beneficial to me throughout this whole process. He is HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, DEPENDABLE and EFFICIENT! I hired Matt 2 months ago and I'm about to have my last court date here in two weeks. What should have only taken 2 months, Paul and Rachel continued motion after motion over at 8 months process and got me nowhere except going in complete circles and more money. Matt also doesn't charge $59 per phone call. Matt also doesn't charge a $5,000 retainer fee either. I recommend Matt Harris for any legal issue you have!! He's truly a blessing in disguise. *** Also if you notice the last few newest reviews of Paul's is all five stars and compliments about Paul and Rachel and how amazing they are. After such a brutal honest review that I left, I guess they needed to reclaim themselves somehow. Probably family or friends just trying to help this firm out.

If you wanna separate your family come to this guy he'll even make sure you can double dip while another man takes care of his kid. Why stick together just move on and sue till you got 10 monthly child support checks. Then you made it. Screw the man, literally.

Rachel was amazing, quick and efficient with replies to messages. Highly recommend this attorney for any needs you have. With this team I was able to get my child’s last name changed in a short court hearing and we went to court quickly after having my initial meeting! Great team and couldn’t be more thankful for their help!

Paul Scott is the better lawyer of the establishment with divorce and child custody.

Paul Scott & Associates handled my divorce and another case at the same time about 5 years ago. They are kind and compassionate. When I needed an attorney recently, I did not hesitate to contact them again.

Paid thousands of dollars for a lawyer who did next to nothing for my case. This law firm cares about money and that’s all. Any questions I had were never properly answered and I was always left wondering what was going on, while being charged per phone call and email. I was also lied to about a SECOND retainer fee (for the same case) and when I asked why I was being told two different things, Paul decided it was ok to disrespect and belittle me. I went to his law firm for help, and he did nothing but make me feel helpless and extremely unimportant. He’s ranked really high on google because he pays to be not because it’s earned. Trust me, his public reputation among peers is nothing he should be proud of. If you’re willing to throw away thousands of dollars, hire this law firm but if you’re wanting your case resolved, I’d suggest moving down the list.
