The worst attorney I have ever come in contact with. He was arrogant and in salting to the point I could barely hold my temper. I am a disabled person that was trying to completely pay off my child support case and not only was he completely rude, pumpus, and useless, but in the end he didn't know the current laws and i ended up paying THOUSANDS of dollars more than the friend of the court said that I should of paid, but I could never get back. All that seems to matter to him is keeping the prosecutors happy and chummy. He's why we can't trust lawyers. Buyers beware.

Paul and his staff went immediately to work after talking to him in one day after having to wait 3 weeks because of a previous attorney not working on my case. I talked with Paul on a Thursday hired him on a Friday and that Monday I had a motion filed and a court after spending almost 2 months stuck in Michigan I lost hope but Paul and his staff reassured me that they were taking care of my case. I was updated almost every other day about something with my case. You would have thought I was his only case but I wasnt that's how close and updated Paul and his staff makes you feel. After being stuck in Michigan for almost 2 months me and my family are back home in Tennessee and I have Paul and his staff to thank for that. 😊😊

I retained Paul, along with Kelly, midway through a long custody battle I had been fighting. Upon the initial meeting I knew this was the right choice for me. Paul and Kelly didn’t hesitate to jump right on on my case and get things going in the right direction. The communication and responses were immediate. I never had to wait or wonder what to do next. Paul and Kelly were hired to come in and take over midway through our custody battle and immediately hit the ground running. They were extremely responsive and ensured I understood what was going on throughout the entire process in terms I could understand as it had been my first time. The first time speaking with Paul, I knew off the bat he truly does what he does because he loves to help. Being a parent himself, he was empathetic, offered advice at any hour of the day/night, and was also great at following up and checking in to make sure everything was going ok. His associate Kelly was also very prompt in responses, very caring, and very helpful. It can sometimes be hard to find someone who practices law just for money and not out of passion to help others. Worst attorneys ever hirer Kelly Thompson $3500 for retainer fee she is a total flake job no organization I had parenting time before hiring her after one court lost my parenting time she never wrote the after court order that she told the judge she would write we literally went over what we wanted stated in court she DID NOT mention one of our concerns it's like she didn't know one case from the other after that they charged $1000 to drive to the court house to look at our file. And another $300 to file a motion that NEVER got filed needless to say this is by far the worst attorney's in Genesee county I'm currently working with an attorney to get some of my money back for misrepresentation. Call Al Zerka or anyone shoot go pro se before giving these scam artist one cent. SCAM SCAM SCAM

I cannot say enough about Paul Scott. He helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. I was blindsided. I’m not sure on how this all worked. But he took the bull by the horns and made sure he had my best interest involved. He was very prompt in getting back with me when I had questions. I hope I never have to go through this situation again. But I feel that he did everything fair and made sure my best interest was looked out for. I would highly recommend him to anyone going through this painful situation of divorce.
