I would like to state that while this office carried out proceedings and paperwork in a very professional manner the billing was highly fraudulent. I professionally sign commercial agreements and I had never been exposed to such fraudulent scheme. Stay away if you want transparent costing. This firm may indicate they are transparent to you by providing agonizing details as as to why they will bill you. e.g. we dreamed about your case ($$), we were having lunch and saw a sign with your name ($$), you discussed your own billing and also $165 please. I 'advocate', pun intended, for lawyers/attorneys to be paid on a schedule of services a la cart and no more, just like many other professions. Per process and be done. Why sit down and discuss your case if the firm has no clue and every time that time is spent (once you have signed their billing agreement) it feels it is only done in order to bill you more. Going through the same topics twice doesn't justify double or exponential billing.

I had spoken to many different attorney's offices before landing on Kraayeveld Law to represent me in my family law case. Definitely not thrilled with this facility. Called to have a consultation on a specific matter. They left a voicemail on my work number with a high overview response. They did not know any details and did not bother having a conversation surrounding the situation.
