They are helping me with my problem

Would like to thank the people who represent the farmworkers with there legal issues for of charge. Anyone who is willing to come harvest our crops deserve better housing, medical attention and our deepest gratitude for coming here from other countries to work to put that food on our tables. Shame on us Americans for not caring enough like this agency. Thank you Michigan Legal Aid.

They only help you if you are low income.

Great organization! They are my go-to for conference room rental via liquidspace.com. The staff is wonderful. Everyone is helpful and accommodating. They make you and your clients feel like its actually your space. Collin Ritsema went out of his way to help!

They helped initially, but said call when court. Trying to prevent that.

The lawyer I talked to was straight forward with me. Answered all my questions. Didn't sugar coat anything

I have been very happy so far with my help from Legal Aid! I could not be going through a divorce at this time without the representation of my attorney/attorneys! Thankfully, my current job status allowed me to qualify for this help. With my income, I have no means to pay for an attorney! It has been a little complicated because my case was originally handled by an assistant, with whom I went into great detail. THEN my case was assigned to an attorney who I have only met briefly to sign the actual documents. She then went on maternity leave, so I now have another person with whom I have to explain everything and get to know. I understand these things happen and my latest attorney is doing her best to familiarize herself with the case. Because my husband lives in another county, it has made the process more difficult! I very much appreciate the attention that my case has received and pray that the divorce can be handled without going to mediation and being prolonged, as that only makes it harder on everyone involved! I am confident that my lawyer will continue to give the best legal advice and support possible, as I go through this alone and afraid! Thank you Legal Aid for your services!

I mean what can I say. It felt like the guy wanted me to get off the phone real quick. There wasn't any real insight other then we don't do those cases. It was a really uncomfortable feeling for someone who doesn't ask for help. I was thinking, " Well damn at least point in the right direction. "
