Mr Upshaw was the court appointed lawyer for my friend and he did not defend him at all. During the trial he did not contest any of the evidence or object to anything the prosecution presented in court. He would not communicate with his client or plan ahead. He just kept him in the dark. As a result, he was convicted and Mr Upshaw was still not communicating or contesting anything and he failed to file for papers in time and seems like he’s working for the court that paid him and not for my friend. He’s not as aggressive as he should be. As a result my friend might be going to jail for a long time. NO thanks to you Mr. Upshaw

I hired Attorney Upshaw on a federal Conspiracy Case … Several other co defendants had already been sentenced to prison . He negotiated My case submitted lots of mitigation documents to the judge and truly fought for Me in which I ended up with house arrest….. I was not at all that confident going into sentence but Attorney Upshaw was that day and on a daily basis which got me House arrest and Probation … I owe that man My forever Upmost Respects!!!!!!!!! Upshaw has been my husband and I lawyer for a while now, and he has been the absolute best. Myself and my mother in law went through a phase where we were not as trusting as we should have been. And he didn't get mad, he was patient, and he got up there and did a damn good job. I won't go to trial with any other lawyer. He got us a NOT GUILTY VERDICT!!!!!!!!!!! And even tho my husband was innocent, the deck was still stacked against us. He really saved our lives. And it was a Federal Trial. Y'all he beat the feds he a beast.
