First I would like to thank Mr. Upshaw for his service. He went beyond and above to help me out with my case. I was charge with a federal felony case. I'm from Las Vegas but I caught the case out of Michigan. I didn't have no money to get a lawyer. I was blessed and happy to have Mr. Upshaw as my public defender. Like I said he went above and beyond to get the plea agreement that he got for me. I was looking at minimum 5 yrs to 20 yrs. He work his skilled and got it to 0 to 5 yrs minimum. During the whole process he made my family and I felt secure and comfortable because he knew what he was doing. During sentencing, he spoke for me and made sure that I was doing what I was suppose to do. When all said and done the judge gave me 15 months. I really believe that Mr. Upshaw had a lot to do with my sentencing be what it was. Again there's no words for me to express how grateful and thankful for Mr. Upshaw. I appreciate everything he did. Thank you again.

I am being sentenced today for a Federal Drug case. Mr. Upshaw has solved the rubix cube matrix that is our Court System Withot Him. Together we have done everything in our power to reduce the sentence according to my own morality. I have no fear as to what will happen this next hour. Geoffrey Upshaw represented me in a federal case where I was subpoena as a witness. He got me full ammunity for my testimony. Without his help, I'd probably have talked myself into trouble. I'd recommend Geoffrey.

I have two sons and like many boys they make very bad decision. My oldest son first got into trouble writing Graffiti on the exterior of someone's home as a initiation into a gang. My son was caught and charged. Attorney Upshaw developed a defense that got the case dismissed. On a second occasion represented my oldest in a simple traffic issue that went to trial. Upshaw cross examined the police officer who issued the citation and ripped him to shreds about his qualification to operate a radar gun as well as the up-to-date calibration of the radar gun itself. My son was found not responsible after a contested trial.

My son had a major drug case and I thought there was no hope, but choosing attorney Upshaw was the best decision I could have made, because several of his charges were dismissed at trial.

I have two brothers who were both looking at prison time and one of my brothers had a lawyer that was already on the case and that lawyer came back and told my brother his offer is prison time. Well my brother wasn't excepting that. So he hired Geoffrey Upshaw and he got him a year in the county the same thing happened with my other brother prison time and he got him jail time.. and I'm telling you, they both should have gotten prison there should of been no way around it. But he is that good of a lawyer!!! I send every one I know that has a issue with anything to him. He really gets in that court room and fights for you!

Everything he done I could've done for myself actually, I was told that he was good but I wasn't impressed by his work at all. Police came on private property and took us currency from me and I paid this guy to get money back and I ended up settling for a 60/40 deal. I didn't understand that at all considering I have my own legit business and more. I just wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone. Scale of 1 to 10 I rate him a 5.
