Lise Spresser made an ugly process as navigable and understandable as humanly possible, and was a pleasure to work with. The office staff is top-notch and very friendly as well. When I needed to speak to Lise, she was easily available and worked tirelessly on my case for almost one whole year. I hope to not need her services very much in the future, but if I did, I would be confident going back to her.

Lise was a tremendous help to us in navigating the morass of (our son's) very difficult divorce, which had dragged on for months under the auspices of a different firm. Ms. Spresser did a great job handling my situation, which was unfortunately a complicated UCCJEA/ custody matter between myself in Michigan and my ex-spouse in another state. She is an excellent lawyer to have at your side in the courtroom and will represent your interests in an ethical manner. I also appreciated Lise's positive attitude on life and sense of humor. These were nice characteristics to have in an attorney during a difficult period of my life. Although the matter took about 2 years to resolve, Ms. Spresser did a great job navigating me through the process. We attempted mediation and we were able to agree a reasonable short term parenting agreement that greatly increased the time I could be with my son. She was diligent in her preparation for the UCCJEA evidentiary hearing and the later divorce hearing. Throughout the divorce and proceedings, my legal team did their best to represent me and push for the most ideal outcome The results of the hearing and divorce were very positive from a custody standpoint. Lise was fantastic. She was very good at navigating an illogical situation or more to the point an irrational defendant as we progressed through the divorce process. There were numerous meditations held and I thought for sure we were going to be heading into court. However, Lise worked her magic and was able to get the defendant and their lawyer to come back down to reality. In addition, she beat a motion that really helped to get an agreement from the opposing side. She also did a very good job coaching me up for each step of the process as well as keeping me grounded as the absurdity coming from the defendant was getting under my skin. My divorce case was a complicated one and Lise and her office were recommended to me by my estate attorney. Lise spent a lot of time understanding the complex details of the case and I was impressed by her knowledge as well as her grasp of the details of my situation after the first couple of meetings. Lise always answered my emails sometimes in the late evening hours and was always willing to talk and explain things I did not understand.
