If you are a debtor in Michigan with an underwater home, you'll want to give Alivia a call. A former in-house counsel at a large bank, she understands the process from the bank's perspective, and therefore has the unique ability to negotiate favorable settlements for her clients. I live out of state and have a six-figure salary, but with Alivia's help, I settled a mortgage debt on my Michigan residence with 2 lender/mortgagees for an out-of-pocket contribution of about 3% of the total amount owed. We retained Alivia when going through a mortgage refi. She and her staff are excellent. They kept us informed and encouraged us to contact them every week either by e-mail or phone so we would be kept up to date. They always returned our calls and answered all our questions and where able to shave many points from our interest rate and got our 2nd mortgage down to a fraction of what we owed.

I called Attorney Arabo after getting sued for a debt. She immediately returned my called, setup an initial meeting, took the time to explain everything (the contract, process, payments, etc.) to me, and never pressured me into signing with her. However, I felt so comfortable with her, as I never needed a lawyer before, that I did employ her services. She handle the case with professionalism and integrity, ask me to stay in contact with her and assistant (I chose email), and I had a very favorable result because of her work. I highly recommend. I cannot say enough great things about Alivia and Carly. They are incredible. My husband and I had used a different company to try to short sale our home.
