Elaine was my attorney for my divorce and child custody case. She did an outstanding job, even though the case was a very difficult one, and the opposing party and counsel was very challenging, to say the least. Elaine not only helped me navigate the legal process inside the courtroom but also helped me keep my sanity outside of it during a very difficult time. She is a hard-working, no-nonsense attorney. She will not sugarcoat things, but will tell you the truth and she is very open and honest with her clients. She also works efficiently, making an effort to cut through the BS and get right to the point. This no-nonsense approach saved me money by not having to pay unnecessary fees for frivolous items or issues. I appreciated her focus on getting results, and felt like she went out of her way to help me through my divorce. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a family law attorney.

I came to Elaine in a desperate time. I was at risk of loosing custody of my daughter. From the first consultation Elaine made me feel at ease. She carefully explained the process and guided me through all the steps I needed to take. This was not an easy case. Elaine stuck with me for close to 2 years fighting hard for me and my daughter. I really felt like she had a personal investment in my case meaning she actually cared about me getting custody. Not just the money. Even when I was going through hard times financially Elaine was patient and understanding and worked with me every step of the way. And to this day if ever I need any legal advice Elaine is my attorney. Would refuse to allow me to manage my case and refuse to input important information I requested. Her response when asking or talking to her about your concerns is, "if you don't like it, find another attorney". I diligently paid her on a weekly basis to avoid a surprise, enormous amount of money as a threat to stay on case- when she is town. If you have the money, do research and find a reputable family law attorney.

Ms. Stypula handled a very difficult case for us. She was very professional, knowledgeable and sympathetic during the process. She managed to find the right solution to a difficult situation. She was tough when it was needed and yet managed to keep the human aspects in focus. I would recommend her highly to anyone in a delicate family situation who needs help.
