Called to inquire about a situation I found myself in. The woman who answered the phone, listened to me, but was very short with me and could of handled the conversation I felt with a bit more empathy. I understand my situation doesn't seem to call for their services, doesn't mean she needed to be so rude. I will NOT be recommending them.

Very kind and patient with first time filers for patents. Definitely feel like I have the ability to ask him questions. This is not a negative but it does seem like the preference is for him is to answer questions over the phone, I am sure this is because it is easier to explain, explain more and add more nuance. I prefer email communication as to allow for both parties to reply on our own time schedules instead of scheduling calls on his calendar that may not be the same day or even next day for your question. I am also terrible at remembering what people tell me long term, so I like to have the emails to reference my questions. My email is my second brain. Even with this, I will use John again and I would recommend him to friends and family.

I had an introductory call with John, which was scheduled for 15 mins but we stayed on the phone for almost an hour. He took the time to understand the proposed product, and explain to me the different types of patent, the estimated success rates and costs, and was overall very helpful. It was a great call and I will definitely return to this firm when I want to move forward. I recommend giving them a call.
