I can't say enough good things about my experiences with SSR LAW!. My attorney, Farrah Ramdayal-Howard helped me get through the most difficult and trying time of my life. I don't know what I would have done without her. Everyone I met on the staff was warm, helpful and knowledgeable. I would give them a 100% recommendation to anyone needing a law firm specializing in Elder Law and Estate Planning.

In 2022 my husband took ill and required full-time care. We cared for him at home until his condition progressed to the point where his medical needs exceeded what we could provide. With nursing home fees running into the tens-of-thousands of dollars each month, I knew we would exhaust all our funds very quickly if we did not gain assistance. I searched for a family estate law firm to help us, and Farrah Ramdayal’s office came well recommended. I contacted her office to make an introductory appointment. Within a few hours of my call, Farrah personally phoned me to hear the particulars of our situation and calmed my panic. During our initial consultation in the office, Farrah laid out a detailed plan of how we would protect our assets and immediately set to work helping me with paperwork and phone calls. I never felt that I was on my own in contacting my various banks and institutions. She was there to help with every step. Representatives from her office even came the hospital to help with power-of-attorney forms and accompanied me to the banks when transfers had to be made! When finding a nursing home that would fit my husband’s needs, Farrah made personal phone calls with admissions staff to help with placement. In subsequent conversations with various admission officers, I repeatedly heard that Farrah was the finest and most knowledgeable attorney in the area, that she would handle everything expertly and that our family was so fortunate to have found her. The outstanding respect and trust that she has garnered from other professionals in the field speaks volumes regarding her expertise and care. Farrah constantly kept me informed with the progress of our application. At any point, if I had a question or concern, she always responded promptly and took care of the matter. As other friends, family members and colleagues are encountering situations similar to mine, or are realizing the importance of family estate planning, I am so happy to be able to confidently refer them to her office. I know they will be receiving the same outstanding personal care she gave to our family.

It is rare to encounter an attorney like Ben that has only the client's best interests in mind. He is very knowledgable, patient, and humble. From the state where I live, I called SSR Law and talked with Ben when my sister in Michigan was within 3 weeks of dying. She had no Estate plan. In a matter of days, Ben made 2 personal visits to her home and drew up the necessary legal documents, according to her wishes, to preserve her Estate for her heirs. I would NOT recommend this method of "waiting to the last minute" Estate planning. But I highly recommend Ben and the SSR Law firm.

We went to see Erin for an elderly relative. She was kind, patient and thoroughly answered all of our questions. It was something my relative was putting off because she wasn't looking forward to making difficult decisions. Erin's patience, kindness and compassion helped a great deal.

My family and I had an appointment with Ben for a free consultation to go over our concerns for our mother and getting guardianship over my father. In my opinion, he was very condescending, arrogant and not very friendly. He looked at us a few times like “ok, get on with the story” and tried to cut us short. I understand that it is a free consultation and we are taking up your time but all in all you want to feel like the person cares and is truly compassionate because this is a very sensitive matter. I don’t care if it takes up an hour of your day (for free). You could have a potential client and in the end you should feel good about helping others doing what you do. I walked away like I was “mansplained” to. I don’t know how the other few lawyers are here but unfortunately I was not impressed.
