It was a sad reality for me to know I couldn’t keep my 87 year old mom at home with me and my husband anymore. She has multiple serious health issues, and has fallen numerous times-usually during the rare times that we left her alone. Over the past few years she sustained several broken bones, most recently a fractured spine.
