If I could give zero stars I would. This is what the Law Office of Dean E. Patrick states on their website "Contested or uncontested, we understand the complicated issues that often arise in guardianship matters. Call on us and let our skilled guardianship law firm assist you.". #1, they barely "assisted" and #2, the phrase "skilled guardianship law firm" is apparently not as "skilled" as they make it sound. My husband called and spoke with an attorney at this firm who pulled up a file on guardianship for my family member. The attorney told my husband the cost to "retain his services" (not cheap of course, but something we were willing to pay for a quality, aggressive, and compassionate attorney). The attorney told my husband that the case may be difficult but there were quite a few issues he saw with the case that could be contested or argued and were in our favor. The attorney explained which circumstances were in our favor and for the first time in months, we felt a deep sigh of relief/excitement and above all, HOPE. Hope- that even with a difficult case, that this attorney and law firm would be truly what they say they are: "aggressive" and "understanding of complications w/ guardianship". My husband did not receive a call back from this attorney even after telling us we had a chance and how much it cost. My husband and I anxiously awaited the call and were ready to lay down the lump sum of money to get things going. When my husband did get a hold of this attorney (my husband had to call him although he said he would get back to us) the attorney stated he was "too busy to devote the time needed" and that he would "recommend you to someone who had the time". Just how he had provided us with false hopes, he also provided no real recommendation and we have never received a phone call. I'm assuming there is more than one attorney who works at this law firm...so they have no available attorney who DOES has "time"? Or is it because like many of the other firms we contacted, they don't believe they can win "contested or not contested", "complicated", or difficult"? I guess they at least had time to tell us how much it would cost and the time to make us feel like for once we had a fighting chance and could be reunited with our loved one. At least they gave us "time" for that. Now we are back to square one and our hopes are gone. Thank you for this.

I have reached Dean on a complex international estate matter and he was great at navigating the situation quickly offering several options to get the best result. Thank you Dean!

Dean E Patrick promptly returned my call. Which made me feel he was concern with resolving my issue. He answer my questions and concerns. But what was refreshing, is he suggested another solution to resolve my issue, at the cost of losing my business.

Mr. Patrick spent so much time making us feel comfortable and guided us through so many important decisions. He brought up things that we had not even thought about. He was kind, professional, patient and answered every question we had as we journeyed through this process. Thank you!

I had a phone conference with Dean on May 12, 2020. He as very accommodating; he answered all of my questions, probably more than once! My only problem was, and the reason I haired another probate attorney is, that Dean quoted me a fee which was double the fee of the attorney I actually did hire; the attorney I hired is preparing the identical documents which Dean was going to prepare for me, at half the fee.
