After being robbed by an unrelated southfield MI law firm called panther law firm who collected $500 then disappeared without doing ANY work, they just went ghost and didn't answer calls or emails. We went looking for more reputable firms. Understandably our previous experience left us feeling extremely dejected. Especially the estate's personal representative who is simply trying to settle her father's small estate, is not in great health & who is on a fixed income. After once again reaching out to multiple law firms who specialize in probate law to handle this matter, We finally received a return call from Attorney Mike Franklin with the Law office of Dean Patrick. Attorney Mike Franklin answered all questions and was very professional, patient as well as knowledgeable. After a couple of conversations we've decided to retain Attorney Franklin. I had contentious relatives in a complicated probate matter that involved real estate discovered after the death of my grandfather. It was a quagmire of probate laws that added more than one grey hair to my head. But Mr. Patrick's office sorted it out, got everyone to agree to what originally seemed a near impossible task and limited the filings in doing so. I feel like we got the best legal advice possible and the results were far better than anyone on "our side" had anticipated. Especially in COVID times, we expected this to drag on forever. But Mr. Patrick's office cleared every hurdle before us and we were done in literally weeks - instead of months or years. If you have legal standing, these folks will find it and leverage it. I sleep better now knowing I can say, "call my lawyer," and have confidence it means something. I have nothing but high praise and respect for Mr. Patrick and his team.

Mr. Patrick and his office took over a probate matter mishandled by 2 prior attorneys. The mountain created previously seemed like an endless money pit with no expiration date on the conflagration. I couldn't be more pleased with the solutions they provided and the time frame they worked it out within. Professional and honest, they told us where we stood, they also told us where we had problems - which prior counsil had hedged on. The matter is done and these folks nailed everything down for us. The communication and updates were huge. And I never felt like another case in a stack. They always knew the circumstances and never needed reiteration (which gets tiring by the time you've sought your third attorney.)
