Not the ideal lawyer in my opinion. Jeffs services were overpriced in my opinion for the effort that was put in. I believe I talked to the judge more than he did during the hearings, and he did not always answer my calls (not even close to always) for the times that I called him first at least. He would even say “I’ll call you right back” and barely ever did. Extremely disappointing as a macomb resident, I will go elsewhere for any legal defense needed next time (there should not be a next time, god willing!). Good luck to you. The man altered my life. I would like to affirm that this was NOT a case of civil forfeiture, the charges were for felony possession and that is what I hired him for. I had to say this because privately I had just now received a letter from him/his office saying that I was committing defamation and that if I would prefer to “avoid litigation and avoid court costs” then I would have to “immediately remove the Google reviews that I have posted”. Jeff you can not throw a fit whenever you receive a bad review, from a consumer standpoint it looks much better when someone owns up to their mistakes rather than pushing them away. If I would have seen these reviews prior to meeting with you, I would not have hired you just by the way that you reacted to them. I am a god fearing man, and i do not tolerate bullies. Good luck to you sir. I am also not saying that you will have a bad experience when hiring this person. I’m sure some people do have a good experience with him, but I personally did not. This is my opinion. I reached out 2 years later because at the time, I did not think about leaving a review (I was 17), the case was dismissed, but in my firm opinion, Jeff did not have much control at all in that. I believe that the outcome would have been the same even with a state appointed defense. I did my own legal research to find out what my best bet was, and acted on it. Yes, I may not seem like the most credible source with the drug possession charge I had acquired and me only being 19, but I see myself as a virtuous young man. I am pursuing bigger things with my life than I was previously, and I do my best in all aspects of this journey. I only leave this message here to allow you to see my opinion, as I can not state anything as facts because I would not like another text message saying ‘delete this by 5pm or I’m filing a lawsuit’. There were more disappointments with the care of this case in my opinion, but I prefer not to disclose them here. If you ever get threatened by a lawyer for defamation on a review, just know, you are not doing anything wrong as long as you are stating opinions and factual information. I was told this by another lawyer themselves. Good day everyone, walk through the ups of life, push and run through the downs. If you are virtuous to life, life will be virtuous to you. Lack of communication only calls or text me when payments are due. Dodges calls and doesn't inform me on any information about my ongoing case when I asked on multiple times.

Jeff and secretary are very unprofessional. I paid them and I barely had any conversations or meetings whatsoever. They kept dodging my emails and calls and was unprepared throughout the whole process. I don't recommend this firm to anyone! They will scam you for all you allow.
