Long story short my spouse is US citizen we married 2 years ago and I applied by myself to change of status (i130, i485 and i765). Got my work permit and SSN then an interview was scheduled. I did a mistake in the interview the first time, so they sent me another call for an interview and guess what! I did the same mistake again! 1 month later I received a letter that I'll not be able to change my status and I have to apply for I-601 Waiver and if it got approved the USCIS will process my Change of Status. That was the worst thing ever happened to me since I moved in here, because as far as I know if the waiver got denied It can take up to 2 years after you appeal for a judge to look at your case. I wasn't ready for that! and most probably I was not gonna be able to renew my work permit or driving license. I'm not trying to be extreme but we both lived the worst 4 months ever! Everything we built together can fade out at anytime, my wife was not ready to leave her kids and leave the country and I was not going to leave my wife behind under any circumstances and also leave her with loans and bill all alone! I called few lawyers for consulting, I met couple until I spoke to Ms. Garvock. She seemed pretty confident dealing with waivers unlike other lawyers who scared me and told me how my life can be worse if it got denied and no one was sure that he can guarantee the result. Of course no one can guarantee the result but speaking with somebody who is at least confident and telling me exactly "Don't worry I'll get you your green card" made me so confident hiring her! The waiver was supposed to be sent within 30 days, I already waisted 2 weeks before I met Ms. Garvock, We met 3 times only. First time she listened carefully to everything, she reviewed all the letters I received from USCIS and she gave us a checklist of required supportive documents. Second time was 1 week later to review everything we sent her. She prepared a really strong case (Hundreds of pages!) and 3 months later I received my approval notice and 2 weeks later I got my Green Card Finally! Third time we met to thank her for everything she did to successfully get me my card! I totally recommend Ms. Garvock and wishing everyone good luck :)

Some lawyers has really low moral standards and/or low professional skills. Heather Garvock Happen to be one of them. I almost hire her to represent a false representation case, she advised to file a waiver immediately (along with big bucks). However, the first question on the waiver form is that you have to admit your false representation is a willful misrepresentation. It is like you accept a guilty plea without a fight. I am so glad I did not hire her for the case. You should be aware as well.
