Friendly, informed staff!

Extremely disappointed with Anna. I am going thru a divorce and child custody case, and I felt as though I was divorcing her and taking her children. She was so argumentative on every phone conversation, raising her voice at me - very unprofessional and offensive. Had a relatively simply document to file, she did not understand the Court deadline and I had to explain it to her for close to 30 minutes. Then she didn't understand MN statute, and I had to explain again to her for another 15 minutes. I think I was charged for teaching her, because when I paid the $3,000 retainer she asked a week later to replenish the retainer. For what??? Not sure, because I wrote the filings and she took credit for them? I fired her today and requested my retainer to be refunded. Let's see. i will update when I hear back. I told Anna she provided the best piece of work I've ever seen as sarcasm. I had to review and modify her work several times. She is inexperienced and treated me disrespectfully. Common for an attorney. Always be aware of who you're paying. If they argue with you then it's a good sign they need to be fired. Remind them who they work for.
