I worked with Merlyn on a few occasions over the past 6 years. He is extremely knowledgeable , honest, and will guide you every step of the way. He and his staff carry a lot of respect with his peers and the court system. Merlyn will always give you an honest opinion upfront. He and his staff provide you with comfort knowing they are working for you to provide the best outcome. Highly recommend Merlyn!

If you are looking for an attorney who listens well, protects your best interests and makes you comfortable discussing your situation with the utmost confidentiality, see Merlyn. In legal situations, the bottom line is to protect yourself. Merlyn does it with dignity and a strong moral ethic.

Worst and best PC depending on if you can become her favorite or not. Mrs. McKenzie has an extreme bias towards one parent. Regardless of reason, frivility, logic or truth she will make every decision in favor of that one parent, no matter what proof or evidence you may have to the contrary. Every decision no matter how small will benefit the favored parent and punish the non-favored parent. Childrens best interests are never considered only the favored parents best interests are considered. Mrs McKenzie requires that both parents attend a Co-Parenting course before she works with them; but does nothing to enforce the favored parent to use anything learned in the course in an attempt work out a solution, nor hold the favored parent accountable prior to her making a decision.

Mr. Meryln Meinerts, changed my families lives. He valued my family by listening to my concerns and needs. He help me get on to a better path in my life away from an abusive ex. I am so thankful to him and his staff. They treated me with love and respect. This has changed my families lives for ever. May God bless him and continue to use him to help others. First and foremost, Merlyn and his staff are good people above all else. Going through a divorce is an emotional roller coaster and take that to another level when young children are involved. Not knowing which law firm to trust (for most of us this is a first, and hopefully last time going through this!) was the most daunting and overwhelming feeling I had heading into my divorce. Like most of you reading this, we only have one shot at getting the outcome we hope. My son was only 6 months old when my divorce began. On my side finances were limited and on my ex wife's side money (family) money was not a challenge (to say the least!). It was scary enough to think that I will only be seeing my son half of the time for the rest of his life. Introduce the concept that my ex wife was seeking full custody and were ready to do ANYTHING, including lie to make that outcome possible. Merlyn and his wonderful staff removed the emotional variable and truly listened to me explain my full situation. They understood my budget constraints, explained the path forward, potential variables/outcomes, and step by step we moved forward. I won't go into details surrounding my situation but I will mention that everything someone could possibly do to take a child away was done by my ex wife and her soulless attorney. Like most dads going through my situation, I was juggling new financial hardship, attempting to provide everything I could for my 6 month old son and cherished (still do!) every moment I had with him. I was awarded equal custody and although the journey kept me in a constant state of stress and continuous state of worst case scenario mindset, Merlyn and his team stayed strong, professional and timely in every aspect. My gratitude is beyond measuring and if anyone reading this wants to discuss my experience to help choose your path forward, I would be happy to do so! If you want someone who does not care about you or your end result Merlin is the way to go ! ! ! Read the paperwork really well because he won't and he definitely will not care how you get screwed because of it. He is the definition of every bad lawyer joke. Ya dude! it was a 4 yr journey because he was enjoying taking all your money. poor fellow

Dana K. McKenzie is by far the most unethical, biased and disrespectful attorney/Parenting Coordinator I have met. She should never be allowed to make decisions for children or families. She passes judgement on individuals in their most vulnerable moments. Judges you with out even looking into your case at all. She makes up rules and bends them for the party she favors. She is never on time and makes unforgivable mistakes. She is also incredibly disrespectful and condescending. Had I read her reviews I would have never hired her. I only hope that writing this one saves another family from suffering from a meeting with her. This job takes compassion, patients and an open mind. Dana does not poses these qualities. She does not care nor does she realize seriousness or respect the type of filed she is in. Save yourself and run the other direction. She does not deserve your money nor should she be in practice.
