Very VERY competent criminal attorney! Already being on probation and then being arrested again on a trumped up charge is absolutely terrifying for anyone in that position, especially when you've worked hard to change your life to be different than you once were. Unfortunately if that happens, the State is often quick to judge you based on that past. I needed the best defense possible - and I found it in Anthony Bussa. I was referred to Anthony a little over a year ago when such a situation happened to me. From DAY ONE he went to work on my behalf, and he fought hard. He was able to professionally and factually present my side in the case to the prosecuting attorney. The end result was the charge dropped down from a Gross Misdemeanor to a Misdemeanor - with no jail time served. He also represented me on the probation violation - and again - presented the facts - not just what the police report said happened. There was a very favorable result with that as well. The dust has now settled from all of that, and he still follows up with me periodically just to see how i'm doing. I never in a million years would have expected that from an attorney. I'm very impressed. I thought I was losing everything - again. He made sure that didn't happen. In meetings, he would bring my spirits up when they were at their lowest. Even if you've made mistakes in your past - as he continued to remind me through the process - YOU HAVE RIGHTS! And he'll fight until the end to assert those rights. I'm very grateful for his services. I no longer associate with people that would need his services - but I can honestly say that if you are ever in a position where you need a good criminal attorney, ignore the flyers you get in the mail after you're arrested. I have hired Attorney Cline for a divorce and custody matter. He was very professional and his staff was amazing. I learned that the process is long and it takes time to get court dates. Attorney Cline was knowledgeable and excellent in the court room. The court paperwork that he prepared was always perfect. He dug into the facts and used the law to back up the facts in my case. If I wasn't able to speak directly with him, I spoke to his assistant. I would recommend him to anyone. Custody is a very emotional subject and when I had questions, he answered them and gave me immediate peace of mind knowing that I was in the care of someone who cared and who would fight for me. If you need an attorney, hire JJ Cline, you won't regret it.

I found Mr. Cline and his staff to be expedited in their response in scheduling a consultation, during which I found Jon to be very competent and approachable. My ex-husband and I came to J.J. Cline to dissolve our marriage. We had an initial meeting with him where he informed us of our options. My ex-husband decided not to be represented by counsel and J.J. clearly informed him of his rights to an attorney of his own choosing. I was provide a questionnaire and was informed of the information that would need to be provided in order to complete the necessary documents. After, providing the office with the information they requested I was told I would receive a draft shortly thereafter. Approximately a week passed and I was provide a draft of our documents. My ex-husband and I each had an opportunity to review the documents. We both were satisfied with the draft we received. We then scheduled an appointment to sign the documents. At our appointment J.J. read the documents to us and explained each of them to us thoroughly. J.J. was very welcoming and made a difficult situation comfortable. I have recommended others to J.J. Cline in the past and I will continue to recommend others in the future. I am very appreciate of how he took the initiative to understand our unique situation and assist us through the process.

Unfortunately, I have had the need for several lawyers throughout my life and I can say Mr. Bussa is one of the best lawyers I have had. Believe me when you are faced with a life changing event like a criminal charge you want someone like Mr. Bussa in your corner. He is very personable and thorough in his preparation. He will definitely fight for you.

I secured Mr. Cline's representation on a divorce and custody matter through legal assistance. While professional and convincing in the initial meeting, I was not impressed throughout the process with his response time or quality. When going through such an emotional and scary ordeal, a parent deserves an attorney that is sensitive to their fear regarding their children. When getting into Family Law, dealing with this is a high probability. Mr. Cline lacked such sensitivity and I was treated as just one of many cases he was dealing with. I believe he went through 3 different legal assistants in the months that I worked with him. Each time I called asking for someone specific or sent an email, I was told that the intended recipient was no longer with the office. He was late to our initial hearing and works less than a few blocks away. He put more energy into talking deer hunting with the bailiff than discussing my case that day. Maybe it was because I was a legal assistance case that it did not matter to him, but his low level of interest was made obvious. During the heat of my custody case, he chose to discontinue representation because I was too demanding. As I stated before, he lacked any sensitivity or quality responses when I had questions and would take sometimes weeks to return a phone call. When I shared my frustration with this, I was told that I was one of MANY cases that Mr. Cline had on his plate and he would respond when he could - meaning weeks generally. A good lawyer should at least attempt to make your case feel important to him. I was not impressed and do not recommend his services.

Completely honest, he tells you what you need to hear and not just what you want to hear, which is a good thing. He had the resources to make a deal with the DA and get me a sweet deal that was a cake walk. I would recommend him. He is worth way more than he charges, probably because of how honest he really is. Anthony fought hard for me while I was involved in an investigation for something that was said, that did not occur. Anthony was on my side, informing me of all work behind the scenes, letting me know what I had to do, and provided me real solutions.
