I contacted Cooper Law when it became clear that I had to make a difficult decision for my family. Nobody likes to go to court and fight for custody. I was worried and scared and didn't know what was going to happen. I just wanted my girls to be safe. Some people think that you can just file paperwork with the court on your own. But the problem with that is, you're on your own. Emily took my case and took care of everything. Without her knowledge, I wouldn't have been able to get through this. What I like about her is that she's a parent, too. So she knows what's on the line. Her experience in the field of family law was impressive. She pretty much predicted how it was going to go. She cleared the road and gave my family a way to move on. I highly recommend her!

Emily not only provided me with excellent legal representation from start to finish; she also was instrumental with helping me find my voice and confidence following a difficult divorce. When I hired Emily, she was open and honest about her approach, delivered the facts, fought hard for me, was patient with me and helped me to understand my rights. She took time to answer my questions and settle my fears. A courtroom can be intimidating and with her by my side, I always felt I was in good hands. Her representation made all the difference for the end result where we "won" a long battle. She was also conscious of fees and never over-charged. The last 6 years have been some of the roughest years of my life. Facing some impossible no win situations and having fired my last lawyer, I found Emily Cooper online. Her work along with her associate Whitney Sevaila knocked down child support to a reasonable amount and came out on top when my ex was preventing me from having unaccompanied minor status and I got the most parenting time possible. Trust is a hard thing for me. Trusting these two to fight battles with the courts that seemed to only favor the mom was difficult. All I can say is trust her, make your payments every month and in the end you will win. Thanks Emily and Whitney for putting up with my endless questions, attitude and bs.
