I found Franz to be incredibly thoughtful and professional in his practice. Franz is smart and knowledgeable, as many attorneys are. However, what I felt from Franz was an ethical grounding that extends beyond law and practice. The reality is that divorce is hard. Unfortunately, sometimes, it can get ugly which can encourage individuals to be the worst versions of themselves. If that happens, Franz pushes clients to fight that impulse and consider what matters most in their life and relationships. He does this with care and a temperament that seeks low conflict resolutions. I very much appreciated that about Franz and recommend him highly.

I don't know that anything truly makes a divorce easy or pleasant. But having a lawyer and an advocate like Franz by your side from the beginning has been crucial and so valuable. He was recommended to me by a friend who has also been through family law issues with Franz. From the very first phone call, to simply get some initial information about my situation and wishes, I think we both knew we would be a good fit for each other. Franz makes a point to let his clients understand he has no desire to create drama where there needs to be none, he wants to see situations resolve as calmly and adult as possible, and he desires clients who wish for this as well. This being said, Franz is strong, extremely knowledgeable and experienced in family law, confident and efficient. Though busy, he returns phone calls and emails as quickly as he can, often the same day, and he does not draw out correspondence any longer than need be, unless the client wishes it. His capable grasp of human emotions and psychology were impeccable, and more than a few times, he understood how to keep tensions low and the best of humanity at play in my divorce proceedings. I don't think anyone believes this is possible in a divorce lawyer, but it is in Franz Davis, and I'm not sure how I was so blessed to have him be by my side in all of this. His bills are detailed and understandable, and he lets you know at every turn, from the beginning, where you are in terms of financial obligations. I have recommended a couple people already to him, and I would continue to do so.
