Livgard&Lloyd did an excellent job. They helped me win my case in much less time than I thought it would take.

It only took me a few months to schedule a judicial review, after I was denied for the second time trying for disability. I won my case, and will be receiving two years of back pay. On a sad note, my roommate, who was instrumental in following through with my case, passed away yesterday from a heart attack. RIP Earl Johnson.

Very respectful and timely response

I filed four times for disability, (which includes the 3 denials for each filing-plus appeals), which took over 12 years before I contacted this firm to assist me and I got approved within 3 months. The only con to their services is that, once I was approved, I asked for some information/help with a garnishment issue that arose with child support and I was told that they didn’t know anything about that. So if it’s a straight up case of disability or something of that sort I can say I would definitely recommend them. However, if you have any extenuating circumstances you might want to ask about it right in the very beginning because they may not be able to help you with it if it comes up in the end.

I have numerous ailments/injuries that have kept me from working in my field that I had worked in for 37 years. I tried applying for Social Security Disability on my own, which was a mistake. After many months, I received a denial letter. I appealed and months later received my second denial letter, even though I knew that I should qualify. I had read many comments from various sites recommending one gets a Disability Attorney if they are serious about this process. I reviewed a lot of attorneys and Livgard & Lloyd stood out as the firm that I chose to represent me. When researching, I had read many positive things about Stephanie Christel, so I contacted her. Even with her help, my process still took roughly ten months, so please understand that this process will take some time as they have to wait to hear back from Social Security. Don’t worry though as if your situation is found favorable for you, you WILL get back pay. I was very happy with the communication from Stephanie, Sarah and Erick. If I ever had a question, they were there to answer all of them. If you choose this firm, they will work hard for you. Keep in mind that they’re not miracle workers, so please make sure you actually have qualifying ailments. When I was reading comments from people who tried getting SSD, there were many that were ridiculous as what they claimed and were never going to be approved. I highly recommend Livgard & Lloyd for anyone that’s looking for a good firm to represent them. Rick H.
