When I was diagnosed with my condition which is rare and has treatment with no cure, I continue to work until I was unable and filed FMLA and decided to file for short term and long term disability which I had from work. Of course, I was denied and given the right to appeal. I was going to file the appeal myself, but I really could not mentally or physically put myself through that. So knowing I would let a lawyer handle it, I did not even look in my state. I researched on line and decided to work with Fields Law Firm. The attorney assigned to me is Mr. Patrick Kramer. I have to say that I have never dealt with someone so professional and accessible. He immediately scheduled a call with me and discussed the process and what is often expected with insurances. I engaged them and throughout the process, Mr. Kramer has made himself accessible at any time I call, which is rare from law firms. I also deal with his assistant Samantha Kurschner who had to deal with a lot of headaches to get medical records from my doctors. He also guided me to see if I wanted to pursue Social Security since my condition was rare and guided me to the other department within the law firm. They have also been extremely professional. Here I dealt with Crea Lewis constantly vs. the attorney but Ms. Lewis should be an attorney. If she needed to get an answer, she called me back timely and has been expeditiously throughout. I was approved for Social Security in record time. I recommended a friend to them and she engaged their services already. I have to say with all of them, but Mr. Kramer helped me not deal with the bureaucracy of private insurances and let that stress and anxiety in his hands. Thank you Mr. Kramer and Fields Law Firm.

It is very difficult for the average disabled person to battle the disability insurance and Social Security disability industries. I was very sick, exhausted, and stressed out about being denied and told that I can work by someone who doesn't even know me! The paperwork was daunting and had to be filled out multiple times.
