Highly recommend Ed Matthews! We attended his seminar on Estate Planning a few weeks ago and scheduled an appointment. He did an outstanding job setting up our Trust for us. He’s professional and detailed making all portions understandable. Will recommend him to others!

To start off we highly recommend attending Ed Matthews free estate planning seminar. He does a very good job of explaining the different aspects of estate planning, including health care directives, and how to avoid the expense and delays of probate. We went into the process thinking we only needed to update our old Wills and Power of Attorney documents, but his experience, not only as an estate planning attorney but also as a CPA, gave us a better understanding of the significant financial benefits of having a family trust along with update Wills and more robust health directives. A week after the seminar we met with him where he allowed us time to ask a lot of questions, providing thoughtful responses based on our situation and we walked away confident that he was giving us sound legal guidance. After we gave him the go ahead, within about a week he was able to develop a set of estate planning documents that will help protect our assets both before and after our passing. He also provided guidance on how to best move our assets into our new family trust. We thank Ed for getting our estate planning documents up to date and for helping us feel confident that our estate planning is now all in order, for us and our children.

Ed created a trust for my fathers estate. Once my father passed and we had questions about how to exicute the trust he was very condescending and unhelpful even though when dad was alive he said multiple times "if you have any questions give me a call". When the trust was created Ed explained things poorly. We all misunderstood the trust and the rolls in the trust. He gave us all bad advice and has turned having a trust into a giant hassle. I do not recommend him. Edit: my father was given 3 months to live and I took care of him until the end. Both my sister and I were with dad at Eds office while setting up the trust, because he was terminally ill and trying to make sure his affairs were in order. Ed calls me greedy for having contacted him after my fathers death to understand how to access the bank account in the trust so that I could pay for my fathers funeral and expenses. We all misunderstood the term "beneficiary" to mean we would have access. After understanding that only the single trustee, who lives across the country, could access the bank account we both contacted him to try to figure out how to change the trust so that I could pay bills for the house that was left. Ed responded by being condescending and rude, as you can see in his reply below. Your heirs beware.

Ed did a great job with my trust and ensures you understand what is going on, why it is important, and you leave feeling you're in good hands. Highly recommend using Ed!
