My son signed on for services with Attorney Daniel Adkins back in March. Part of the services were provided prior to Covid. The remainder were on hold as a result of the temporary closings as a result of the Covid pandemic. My son passed away May 16 unexpectedly. I contacted the firm in regards to his death. Mr Adkins was extremely compassionate. He exceed my expectations regarding this matter and returned the unearned portion of the fee Westin paid. Westin spoke with me prior to his passing and expressed how impressed he was with Mr Adkins and felt very hopeful that his case would be resolved to his favor. From my short contact with Mr Adkins he was sincere, honest, fair and genuine. Based on this I would without a doubt recommend him to others who find themselves in need of counsel.

Cathleen is highly intuitive and efficient. She is mindful of cost and has high integrity- not just about billing but also in her professiinal values. She knows the law very well and I consider her incredibly smart. If you let her do a job, trust her to do it well and not inundate her with needless emails and phone calls, she will do a great job, and you won't spend extra money. Be concise and responsive so she can work for you. As a single parent, with two kids and a full time job, i was able to simply trust her to do her job. I highly recommend Cathleen.

I will forever be grateful to Cathleen. She stepped in for us and took over a complicated case that our previous lawyer had continuously dropped the ball on. The other parent in this case was breaking the court order and trying to keep the children from us by denying parenting time and phone contact, among other things. Cathleen recognized what was best for the children and didn't write us off because of the complexities in our case. Our previous lawyer told us it would be nearly impossible to hold the other parent accountable because we lived in another state and that we should accept that they will have "control" of the children until they are 18. We didn't believe this had to be the case and neither did Cathleen. Cathleen gave us knowledge of the law and guidance. She fought hard for us and focused on facts and Minnesota statutes in order to help our case in court. After our horrible experience with our previous attorney, I did not even know that an attorney could be so responsive, and clear and prompt. Soon after hiring Cathleen my stress began to fade away and for the very first time I felt comfortable with where our case was going and knew that we were now in good hands. Cathleen far exceeded my expectations and I could go on and on about how I feel that she "saved us". Our case is currently under advisement and we are awaiting the judge's decision. I felt compelled to write this positive review for Cathleen, even before we knew the outcome of our case. I am confident that no matter what the outcome is that Cathleen did everything in her power to help us and the children.
