Ms. Childress came to my acquaintance through the death of a personal friend of mine who happened to be my attorney for 30 years. James Haffner was an excellent attorney, and any recommendation from him was the gold standard. Ms. Childress subsequently handled a legal matter for me, and in the process of her investigation into the matter, she discovered that the investigative agency involved violated my civil rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and is considering a federal lawsuit against that agency. She is diligent, knowledgeable, and conscientious. She is my problem solver and a great attorney.

Several years ago I faced DUI charges and was reading reviews on Avvo; trying and find the best legal representation I could find. It was my first (and hopefully last time) I needed a lawyer for criminal defense. I read several reviews, and called several law offices. Ms. Childress was prompt to call me back, thorough in explaining her initial thoughts, and frank with me from the beginning of the process until the end. She enlisted help of others if needed, using not only her experience but the vast experience of Mr. Ward and the staff. The process was stressful, and at times the outcome was unclear. But Ms. Childress and Mr. Ward were able to reduce the charges without a trail and completely avoid the alcohol related charges. I couldn't be happier with the results, or the service.
