Bankruptcy saved me from debt that was snowballing on my shoulders. But the biggest relief I enjoy daily is the stress free life I'm able to carve my family's lives towards. It takes discipline to not get back into the same pickle, you guys, but bankruptcy is certainly a positive outcome and not a deficit to your financial health (unless you buy now pay later, save up then pay now).
Also, listen to your lawyer. He knows what will make a smooth resolve for your case.
