I had a different lawyer handling my case at first, but then hired Allison to complete it and she found more arguments than the first lawyer. I liked her transparency and communication and trusted her in how she spent her time billed to me.

Never got back about my case whenever I call he calls my case a small case

When my divorce settlement case was appealed, my trial attorney recommended Appellate Attorney Allison Kort. Allison asked many questions as she reviewed my case, listened to my concerns and then she gave her honest opinion that she was confident we could win. She patiently and thoroughly assured me that the law and previous court decisions were on our side. She poured over pages and pages of court transcripts to fully understand our case. From there, she carefully considered my perspective in each aspect of the case and consulted with my trial attorney to further prepare her brief and oral argument. Her communication and responsiveness assured me that she was devoted to representing me well. Allison presented a well-supported response brief and a solid oral argument before the court of appeals, and the panel of judges did indeed rule in our favor. I not only hired one of the most intelligent and genuine appellate attorneys in Kansas City, but I gained a trustworthy friend.

I was pleased with the advice I was given from Kristen! I spoke with her on the phone for legal advice and she spoke with me like I have already hired her as an attorney. I will definitely keep her number available when I need her!!

I used her services in 2009/2010 for a divorce. She never steered me wrong. My ex ended paying for everything but my legal bills. Can't say enough good things. Don't understand the negative reviews.

Update: Belinda has an awesome paralegal Jeannie, who is so helpful and intelligent and when I can't reach my lawyer when pressing issues with an ex who is being extremely difficult and uncooperative and who refuses to follow court orders or even provide me with details that concern child, yet who insists that what they says, how they want it and what they demand be done and I am so stressed and can't reach my lawyer, Jeannie does a good job trying to manage the situation. Thanks Jeannie!

Ed helped me get through the litigation and resolution of my case, and was able to get me compensation for my injuries. Working with his law office is transparent, and you will always know what's going on, despite his varied caseload. I felt as if I were his star client. Look, there are many lawyers at many firms out there to get a cut of any compensation and dump cases they feel they can't get anything from. Ed didn't do that, and stuck with my case for five years. Belinda did amazing in explaining the process to me and helping me understand but communication was/is horrible I asked multiple times I wanted a request for name change and after the divorce was final it was never included so now I have to wait to go through everything again. I have tried to call her multiple times and get out on hold to hear oh um she is in a meeting can I take your name and number so she can call back as soon as she is available ... and then I never get a call.

Belinda is very grounded in the Law, she gets the job done, she is very intelligent, smart, and compassionate, she hit the ground running and started working from the first day, she responds and communicates very timely, I am so happy and blessed to have found her! her paralegal is wonderful, knows the law and very detailed!
