I wanted to really like this law firm. These were my second lawyers for my divorce, I gave them lots of opportunities and excuses. "I know you are very busy..." etc. Ultimately, I've asked both Evan Howard and Derek Haake to withdraw from my case. I see the good reviews here and I just recommend you get a written contract with them. They don't specialize in family law and have a great spiel so just only look at family lawyers. Maybe they are great at low conflict divorce cases that don't have many complexities but sometimes this law firm took weeks to email a response. They don't respond to text messages reliably, most of the time they do return phone calls in a timely manner (most of the time).

I have just started my journey through this messy divorce, I was referred to him by a close friend. I the greatest thing about him is he's human, he's understanding, punctual, has been there every time I needed to talk to him, from the biggest problem to the smallest of worries. He does what he says he's going to do and there's absloutly no worry on my end. He really is a blessing. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal counsel.

I reached out to Darrek about an issue with the county that I was surprised with due to the fact that they served my last address at a vacant residence that i hadn't lived at for 6 years. Unannounced to me i had missed 4 count dates and had a warrent out for my arrest!!! He acted very quickly and in less than one week we were able to dismiss the warrent and charges. I would definitely recommend Darrek to anyone that needs legal help!!!

Derek is an amazing man! I called him with a very embarrassing serious situation, Derek put me at ease immediately. He took control of the case very quickly and was in contact with me the next day. i called the haake law firm 45 minutes before my already posponed court appearance.i had a warrant from another city and did not want to go.derek called me personally on his cell phone and said he would go on my behalf.derek showed up for me and got my ticket reduced to a littering charge.how awesome is this guy,i am still laughing at the reduction.the amount that he charged me was half of what it was worth.i have had more speeding tickets than i will tell you and will never call anyone else.his cell number is saved in my icloud forever.thanks for what you did for me and unfourtunatley i am sure we will be doing business in the future since ive been driving 500 plus horsepowers cars since i was 16 and this by far is not my first rodeo and probably not my last.thanks again steve

Derek is a good lawyer. He helped me out of a speeding ticket that would have been very costly.

Derek is a kind and easy going man. He did a great service for me, my family, and career. I could have paid a very high fine and penalty. Derek was on top of my case from day one. I barely had to lift a finger. He spoke on my behalf to the prosecuting attorney in which my was. My case wasn't even near him, but he took care of it. I had no penalty and no court case against me after Mr. Haake made contact with the P.A. He saved my career a huge setback and saved me years off my life. Mr. Haake has a very good understanding of what it means to be a family man and has the most loving family a man could ask for. I would trust him again and highly recommend him to you for any legal trouble you may find yourself unfairly in.

I needed an attorney for my husband's complicated case. Mr. Haake was so helpful throughout the process. Apart from being very knowledgeable, he is a lawyer with empathy and passion as well. Derek was fast responsive and very easy to work with. I would recommend him to any one in need of some assistance with traffic tickets for sure. I am not proud of it but I just drive fast and get a lot of speeding tickets that I always get reduced. This has been the best experience I have had in a long time.

Haake Law-firm represented my company through an acquisition. This entailed writing the Asset Purchase Agreement and negotiating terms. He did a incredible job and was professional/timely through the whole process.

First, I wish I would have contacted Derek sooner rather than later. That being said, Derek has provided calm direction in spite of high anxiety, consistent support no matter what or when, and has been a Godsend since the beginning. I earned myself a hefty speeding ticket while traveling through Missouri on I-70. I live in Colorado so I needed to find an attorney a couple states over. By a fortuitous series of events I landed at Derek. Derek's diligence and expertise made my problem suddenly not a problem. Instead of paying a hefty fine and receiving points, I paid Derek a very reasonable fee and within a month my case was resolved. If I ever need a traffic ticket attorney in Missouri again, I'll surely contact Derek Haake and you should too.
