I must share my experience regarding Mr. Todt. My wife was involved in an freak vehicle accident which involved medical airlift icu life support etc. I contacted Mr. Todt based on friend’s recommendation. Best recommendation ever. Mikes ethical recommendation was to to seek another law firm which specialized in personal injury. His communication with myself until I secured counsel was amazing. Who does that, no compensation for Mr. Todt just wanted to make certain we were in the right hands. Thank you Mr. Todt. Highly recommend.

Trisha McCulloch served as the GAL on my case and I couldn't be more disappointed in her. She failed to protect children at event the most basic level. She avoids calls, fails to respond to emails and provided ZERO guidance in the case. She seems only concerned about her next career move and running her campaign events as she is running for judge (as seen on Facebook). Her vacant responses, BIAS practices, and lack of follow through only further to support the deep distrust people have with most attorneys. While she was busy planning golf tournaments and wine tastings my children suffered and continue to do so. How can you be running for judge when you cant do the job you have now?

Cynthia Albin was an amazing GAL for my step daughter. She advocated for what was best for her and helped the process go very smooth. My children felt comfortable talking to her and I would recommend her.

Todt didn’t do his job and per longed everything, did conferences that wasn’t even pertaining to the case. Showed up for trial 45 minutes late and didn’t even have anything ready for my custody case. He will promise you things that won’t happen and milk you financially.

Michael Todt and his office strung out the case to collect more money from me and didn’t even have my back. When it came to go to trial his tail went between his legs and wouldn’t fight for me. He made every excuse in the books not to go to trial. This was in 2017-18. What rights I got for my kids I could of got on my own without wasting my money on his firm. He is the reason why I’m filling bankruptcy.

Looking at the reviews it is very evident that people are not happy with his performance. I used his services as my family had in the past. Mainly his father prior to his retirement. Mr. Todt failed to appear at my hearing for a family access motion due to his vacation plans did not return him to St Louis properly. Lost my marital home due to the lack of communication, preparation and knowledge prior to a hearing. I’m not mad or upset. I do agree he is rude and aggressive with his clients. He is narcissistic for sure. My family and I will not return and I did seek other council for my divorce. I filed a bar complaint and received a response from Mr Todt that did show his true colors. I plan to push forward with a Malpractice suit due to the nature of neglect. Stay away!!!

Ms. Lauren Reiche with Michael C. Todt handled my divorce and it went as well as any proceedings could have gone. They worked with me on price and were incredibly responsive. I reached out for the first time in February, and the divorce was completed in full by July. Quick and easy, only had to go in to the office once. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
