Very knowledgeable.

I been hit with a lawsuit by this attorney who is representing my HOA. I purchased my home late 2019 and moved into it Feb of 2020. In March I became Ill and lost my job due to a medical emergency and the pandemic. At the time I was in and out of the hospital from March 2020 until October 2020 I been through forbearance with my mortgage company as I recouperate . I was under the impression that HOA was on lockdown because they closed everything due to the pandemic. I did not receive any correspondence from them in regards to collecting on the dues! This is my first time living in a HOA community so I’m not sure how things are ran. Fast Forward I regain employment and try to get on track with my finances and discover I’m being sued for 4000 dollars. I don’t know how it goes from 500 to 4000 during a pandemic. The HOA refuses to talk to me they tell me to call this office! I been trying to get the information I need as far as what the 4000 consist of and I’m not getting anywhere! This office says I can do a payment plan but can’t tell me what I’m paying for besides fees. WhAt fees?? They tell me they are going to talk to the the creditor and have the information I need! I don’t get a call back or the information I need. The last conversation I had with Steve Martini he tells me he will get the information but if I call back to the office he will charge me! I never knew it would be this hard paying a bill! I been waiting over a week for the info he promised to get me. I want to take care of the issues but I need a bill!! I don’t want to blindly pay someone!! I’m entitled to know what I’m being charged!!

Steve Martin is a brilliant, honest, competitive, respectful, skillful, experienced and outstanding attorney and he has a supportive office staff that are very responsive to clients. From day one, he was able to see the big picture and I am glad I took his counsel. He was able to provide me options which allowed me to make my decisions. I am glad my outcome was favorable due to his expertise.

I had a question regarding a real estate issue. I called this firm and Stephen Martin gave me excellent advice without charging me. I tried another firm they wanted to charge me $500 to discuss the issue over the phone. I highly recommend this Law Firm.

We contacted them to for a pressing case. They took the money and ran with it so to speak. They did a terrible job with case. I wasn't even able to attend the hearing which was there fault. They lost the case because they did not get the evidence simply because they didn't try to get it. They didn't use witness they proved the case. They didn't subpoena records they needed to subpoena. Run far away from this law firm. Please go elsewhere before you lose all of your money and your case. They will try ask for money than the original retainer to win your case. Watch out!

We are extremely disappointed in this law firm. They were hired for a case which they didn't prepare for the case. Instead they bombed the case and additionally tried to extort us for another $7500 at the time. Then when they lost the case they claimed to have experience fighting before they tried to charge us 12k for the appeal. We did not have that money so we asked them to file the intent to appeal within the 10-day window so we would have 30 days to find a more ethical firm. Additionally, they didn't even bother telling us about the 10-day window to file until a few days after the ruling which made it impossible to find an attorney in time. All they had to do was complete one form for just the intent to appeal and they refused unless we had 12k claiming we needed to an outstanding bill ($28). Please stay far away from this money grubbing unethical firm. I regret ever contacting them. They will take your money for work on your case. Do the bare minimal and try to extort you for money for them to win your case. Truly the worst of the worst when it comes to law firms.

Mr. Stephen Martin did an amazing job at taking a phone call late in the evening and hearing our issue about a home we had wanted to buy but ran into a big problem with the sellers. He gave us great legal advice to prevent us from being at risk at losing our escrow money and how to proceed in the termination of the contract. We are so very grateful for his help and if we ever need an attorney in the future he will definitely be our first choice.
