Mr. Fenley was extremely professional, courteous, and always had my best interest in mind. My case was complicated and I, at times, was not an easy client to deal with. He was very understanding and laid back, and always did everything in his power to make things easy for me to comprehend. I would highly recommend him and his firm for all of lawyer needs.

Complete professionalism and amazing communication on handling my traffic citations. His direction to me was crystal clear, and he got my issues taken care of in no time, with best case scenarios occurring due to his expertise on handling these situations. Would highly recommend!

Great guy that helped my family with a matter relating to custody case. Was very professional and also kept us up to date on what was happening. Would certainly use John again if the need arises.

I would request another GAL if Mr. Nissenbaum is assigned to your case. I found it difficult if not impossible to receive information from him, emails went unanswered, calls from my attorney were often not returned. I believe it was less than a week that the courts notified us of a postponement of court due to him being unavailable on that day and I was never notified by him or his office about this. My daughters therapist was ordered to communicate with Mr. Nissenbaum to determine some points of custody and she herself had a significant amount of trouble doing so with him. It seemed to me he just had a rather blatant disinterest in helping us accomplish anything in a timely matter and now as I sit here with a ridiculously large bill from his office, I am disgusted at the cost for how little was actually done and how much time my divorce was drug out because of it. My ex and I actually only agreed on one thing through the entire divorce and that was the mistake we made not demanding a new GAL. So unless you want to spend thousands of dollars for wasted time and very little effort or communication, I would look somewhere else.

Nice guy but more concerned about reputation with peers than fighting for client. You cant let women push you around in a case where you should have supreme confidence. I take some blame but im closing this case myself.

I would highly recommend that you avoid Mr. Nissenbaum. Very unprofessional, very wishy washy, and lacking ethics. He acted as another lawyer for ex and her firm, one of few firms to continue to give him work. He admitted on stand that he lied. Moreover, admitted that he did not do anything. He was very focused when he wanted to collect his billings, but would not provide detailed billing until very last minute. And even then he stole $1,000 from me, which he then had to send back 4 months later. When I tried to speak with him about the issue 6 months prior, he hung up the phone. Strongly recommend that you avoid him. If your lawyer thinks he is a good idea, then you better make certain that they have sent a lot of work his way; otherwise, you will not be happy with the outcome.
