3.5 stars The administrative staff at this law firm was commendable for their prompt responses and efficiency in facilitating document handling and communication. They consistently connected us with the necessary people and provided clear answers to our inquiries, making the process straightforward. However, our experience with the legal representation was mixed. Although initial meetings with our lawyer in the office were reassuring and conveyed a sense of urgency regarding our case, the actual progression was slow. This discrepancy between expected timelines and reality required us to frequently remind our lawyer to take action or respond to our concerns, which was disappointing. An additional point of dissatisfaction arose when our primary lawyer was unexpectedly replaced by her understudy for two critical meetings—one with the opposing party and their lawyers, and another in front of the judge. Despite the importance of these meetings, the last-minute substitution, though handled competently and pleasantly by the understudy, did not meet our expectations of consistent, senior representation. In conclusion, while the administrative aspects of the service were excellent and the understudy proved capable, the overall legal service suffered from delays and unexpected changes in representation. Prospective clients should be prepared for potential extended timelines, especially in complex fields like Family Law.

I would recommend this law firm to anyone getting a divorce. Steve knows the process and takes a realistic approach to solving problems amicably. Not only does he understand the short term effects of decisions, but reminds you of the long term effects, which is what you’ll be dealing with for a while if kids are involved like my divorce.
