Very dissatisfied with Jeff. My case was a few years ago and the way it went with Jeff never left my mind. I’m a single dad who was fighting for custody after my child’s mother refused to let me see them. Jeff completely dropped the ball and forgot to file paperwork causing a delay in my case, prolonging the period in which I could not see my child. Then there was a disagreement on what constitutes as daycare or school costs as I was paying all the tuition for Montessori and doing all the drop-offs and pick-ups. I was told that I could not be reimbursed for the school costs but daycare costs I would be. My child had finished the school year at Montessori and stayed at Montessori for daycare during the summer. Jeff told me he and my child’s mother’s lawyer talked about it and THEY decided that THEY thought the court would not consider it daycare because my child was still at Montessori and I was paying “tuition” for it. That is up to the courts. Not what the lawyers think it would be deemed. I fired him after that. Unless Jeff takes his clients, their families, & his cases seriously now., stay away. My new lawyer took that to the court and they agreed it was daycare and I was ultimately reimbursed half the “tuition” cost for daycare. At the time I wanted to file a complaint with the Nebraska bar association and wish that I did. I still may.

It's typical for a custody battle to be difficult, a little scary and filled with ups and downs. Jeff was there every step of the way with me and was ALWAYS available to answer my questions. Obviously, each case is different but mine was really drawn out (by the other party) and Jeff was so patient and really worked with me. He didn't give up, he continuously kept my best interest in mind, but also kept it real. I appreciated all the hard work he put into my case. There was a comfort knowing I had him on my side during a taxing time, and I'd highly recommend him to anyone going through something similar.

I first started working with Ivan almost 10 years ago. We were referred to him by a family friend and from the moment we walked into his office he made us feel welcomed and comfortable. I originally went to him for something I was misinformed on and he was very educated with explaining the procedures and possible outcomes of the case I wanted to start. Since DACA was introduced he has been a tremendous help in always trying to get my paperwork sent in on a timely manner so my permits don't expire before the new one is approved. He is always Kind , and ready to help and has been honest about credit I didn't even realize I still had with him. This is a lawyer whos is honest, kind, and gets things done for his clients. That's the reason why I continue coming back to him.
