No one wants to need a lawyer, especially for family issues, but the group at Koenig-Dunne and especially David Pontier’s team, were able to help me in a kind compassionate way while respecting my autonomy and working towards my values. I hope you never need a lawyer but if you do I urge you to consider this firm.

Run! I had a great experience at first and thought this firm was great. I had a high conflict custody matter. Was lead down a rabbit hole where I thought we were headed to trial. Other parent has a personality disorder and they did not want to deal with it. My child was being emotionally abused and out of the blue they dropped me on my face. No reason or explanation. Contacted both Ms. Dunne and Ms Koenig- No response. They had no desire to correct the mistakes one of their attorneys made. They over charged me multiple times and refused to reimburse their mistakes. Watch and be very diligent with your bills if you have them! About 30k in and I had to find a new attorney and put down a new retainer. Ended up worse off than before, paying someone who makes 3 times as much as me child support. They refused to bring the issue back to the Judge, despite knowing my income was not accurate. Save your money and time and don’t use this firm.

Katy Johnson took my call very passionate and caring. She explained the whole process clearly and patiently. David is my lawyer. He is also very professional and caring. My ex-wife did not follow through the divorce decree. David wrote her a letter. A week later, I was able to pick up my daughter. Highly recommended!
