Sean Rensch and Lisa are wonderful. It was so hard dealing with my work comp claim on my own. All I wanted to do was go back to work and then my employer seemed to not ever want me back. I am a car accident victim. I am also an attorney who represents clients in litigation in Omaha, Nebraska. I’ve been practicing law in this town and trying cases in front of Nebraska juries for over 20 years. In 2015, on my way to work in downtown Omaha, a woman ran a stop sign and crashed her vehicle into the passenger side of my car. This was not a minor impact. I suffered a serious injury, including a fractured hand, and I missed a ton of work. I don’t handle injury cases in my daily practice and I knew I needed help. I know a lot of lawyers, some great, some good and some bad. There are many lawyers in this town who probably could have done a fair job in my case. However, I wanted the best. Margaret Badura was quite rude in a phone consultation, saying she didn't have time for this and that she makes $250/hr. "I don't have time to be your penpal." Wow ! We were readily prepared to pay for her services, but after this call. Nope.

A few years ago, I was involved in a crash on the interstate in Omaha. I had stopped in busy traffic behind at least two other stopped vehicles. The cars were all stopped behind another woman who was picking something up off the middle of the roadway. Unfortunately for me, the man driving behind me failed to stop and slammed his van directly into the back of my vehicle. Why was everyone else able to stop, but not the guy behind me?! I had been nearly killed in a prior accident and had surgery on my neck. Due to that old crash and my already injured neck, I was especially worried. I was in pain and followed my doctors orders. I had a lot of physical therapy. I figured I would be able resolve the insurance claim on my own. How wrong could I have been?! I felt like I was victimized all over again when I got the “final” offer from the bad driver’s insurance company. I could not believe how they tried to throw my old neck injury back in my face. They refused to pay for most of my physical therapy because they said I did not need it. Seriously?! The adjuster seemed to be telling me she knew more about me and my health than my own doctors. She tried to make me feel ashamed for making a claim. I felt belittled. I needed help and I needed it in a big way. That is when I sought out Rensch & Rensch Law. Sean jumped right on the case. He laid out in detail for the adjuster all of factual errors she made in responding to my claim. Sean filed the lawsuit against the guy who hit me. The guy actually denied the accident was his fault and instead, placed all of the blame on the woman who picked something up off the interstate. She and all other drivers left the scene so no one ever knew her name. It was the beginning of a saga that last several years. Sean sued my own insurance company in the same lawsuit. We ended up settling, first, with my own insurance company for way more money than the bad driver’s insurance ever offered. We continued to fight against the bad driver and his insurance company. Finally, late afternoon, the day before the jury trial was going to start, the lawyer for the guy who hit me called Sean and the guy’s insurance company finally offered a fair settlement. Sean was relentless on my behalf the whole time. He was also creative enough to get two settlements out of the same case. I did not want to go to trial, but Sean had me prepared for it. Luckily, we did not have to waste three more days of my life in a nerve wracking jury trial. I am glad to be done, but I know I had the best lawyers in town. That is the reason my case worked out. The funny thing is, I would have settled for a lot less had the other driver’s insurance company treated me with any decency in the beginning. If anything like this ever happens again, I am calling Rensch & Rensch right away. Thank you.

Sean Rensch and staff were amazing. They helped us get our settlement done fast and efficiently. If I could, I would give this 10 stars because he is so good at what he does. He does not give up when it comes to fighting with insurance to get what he thinks his clients deserve. In 2017 I was in a tragic car accident and we had to wait until I turned 19 to be able to close this case. As soon as I turned 19, he was there and was ready to work.
