I've had several exchanges with Mr. Kelleher and his staff over the last couple months dealing with some difficult particulars about my current custody arrangement. I was able to go to a consult in person, which in the current pandemic I really appreciate the opportunity to do this. Mr. Kelleher was very detailed and thorough in his questions, and was able to offer excellent advice which has saved me a lot of time and money taking my ex to court. They've been really quick to answer my follow up questions as well! If you are unfortunate enough to be divorcing or dealing with someone who is high conflict, give these guys a call - Mr. Kelleher and his team gets it.

I paid for a consult with Kelleher’s office. Because of Covid, consults are done remotely. I have no issues with that. On the day of my consult, I spoke with attorney Nathan Gibbs over the phone. I originally thought I would be speaking to Mr. John Kelleher himself directly. However, Nathan Gibbs was very personable over the phone and answered my immediate concerns regarding my custody case, so I had no complaints regarding my consult, or the fee. After the consult, I decided to Google Nathan Gibbs. Nathan Gibbs was NOT a well reviewed attorney online. His reviews were poor, and the only good review I found lacked detail... which led me to wonder if it was authentic or not. So I became concerned about my custody case being transferred within the firm to him. I called Mr. Kellehers officers the very next day, to pay a retainer fee, and express my concerns. Jodi, the receptionist, answered my call. I started the call off by saying, that although Nathan Gibbs was wonderful over the phone call and answered my questions/concerns... I did not originally intend to consult with, or retain him personally. Before, I could say anything else... Jodi became very defensive with me. She spoke loudly and combatively over me, and told me SHE took my consult appointment and that I was KNOWINGLY booked for a consult with Mr. Gibbs. I tried to tell her that I don’t recall her saying that during booking, but that it didn’t matter, cause I had no issues with my consultation. However, going forward, I wanted to retain Mr. John Kelleher, and be represented in court only by Mr. John Kelleher. She didn’t hear any of that though, I don’t think. Because she was quite concerned with defending herself unnecessarily, pointing the finger at me, and repeatedly telling me I “knew who I was booked with because SHE booked it.” She kept saying that over and over. After, realizing I couldn’t get a word in edgewise to explain.... (maybe she thought I was attempting to request a refund?? I wasn’t. But she wouldn’t know that... because she kept speaking over me defensively) I asked to please speak with someone else in the office, because she was being unnecessarily rude. Again, she was defensive, curt and had very poor customer service. She denied my request and curtly told me she would “take a message.” Her offer seemed less than genuine... so I asked if I could please be transferred to either John Kelleher or her managers voicemail instead. Again, she denied my request and combatively told me she was going to hang up on me in THREE SECONDS. As if I was arguing with her??? Our conversation was pretty short.... and for what reason, i don’t know, we rubbed each other the wrong way. So a solution to that, would be to transfer me to someone else in the office. Someone that had better communication skills, to say the least. As a business owner myself, your front desk and reception is the face of your company. They need to represent you with courtesy and professionalism. Jodi was NOT that. In fact, I had to take my business elsewhere despite the personal recommendation I got for John Kelleher. When dealing with high stress, high emotional cases like CUSTODY... the last thing you want to encounter is an emotional, rude, unprofessional front desk receptionist. And for no reason! I was calling to make my retainer payment, after paying for and receiving my consultation. I simply wanted to confirm who would be representing me going forward, before making my payment. Sadly, I never got a chance to say that with Jodi as the receptionist. I do not recommend retaining a firm that would allow that within their office. Because it is a direct reflection of how you would be handled, as a client, if there were ever a situation (God forbid) that was unfavorable. You would not be treated with kindness or even basic courtesy. Which is the bare minimum to expect from any law firm.

Mr. Kelleher was recommended to me by an out-of-state attorney when she heard I might need a lawyer. He helped me with my uncontested divorce and then again when my ex changed his mind about the already filed divorce decree. Mr. Kelleher's professionalism and confidence helped ease much of the anxiety I had about my circumstances. Everyone in his office was kind and patient as they navigated through my unfortunate circumstance. I highly recommend John Kelleher to anyone looking for a family lawyer in the Las Vegas and Henderson area.

I am very lucky to have found John Kelleher and to have him as my lawyer. He and his staff are very friendly and understanding. They are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the details of my divorce process. John has a great personality with a big heart. I was surprised by how fast he took action to start my divorce process. Most of all, the outcome was more than I expected. He did a great job to ensure my children and I were financially taken care of in the future.

STILL THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN VEGAS! I cannot say enough great things about Christine & John Kelleher! They are simply Team Awesome! After my husband's employer relocated us to California his son was being withheld from us. We filed for visitation with the courts on our own in order to save money. Well, needless to say, the other party hired a lawyer and served us stating all kinds of lies trying to claim he abandoned his son on the day we were flying into Vegas for our court date! They truly care about not only their clients but the innocent children involved as well. They are 100% honest and truthful and will not ever give you false hope! The whole office are very kind people and it is no wonder why they have won the most ethical place in town... thank you everyone for helping get my case settled with minimal stress and keeping the communication door open without the need to constantly ask me for payment.

Very professional and nice group of people. I mostly spoke with Stacey regarding my ticket. She was extremely helpful, friendly and it was a very easy process. I will be going back in the future for all legal counseling and services should the need ever arise again.

Divorce is a very serious subject and the one thing you'll hear from anyone who's been through it is making sure you leave no stone unturned, address everything and prepare yourself for future red flags. This is why you need to hire John Kelleher. John is very knowledgeable with the system and prepares you fully. It was a relief in an extremely stressful time to have John, and his whole staff for that matter, on top of things. He and his whole office were attentive and easily attainable to answer questions. The whole office returned emails and calls in a very timely manner and were always extremely pleasant to deal with. Make sure you protect yourself, you have one shot to do it right and you should not take a chance on your representation. Know that picking Kelleher and Kelleher is the best decision.
