I can say without a doubt he is the best attorney. Chip handled my DUI case with the utmost care. In court the way he handled everything was something out of the movies! Chip answered my questions and even called me back within 5 min while on vacation of me calling the office. YOU MATTER! Unlike others where you are a name on paper. He will tell you what is realistic, doesn't get your hopes up, but does his absolute best to make sure every little detail is investigated. By doing this he found multiple holes in my arrest and instead of taking a DUI plea deal, opted to go to trial for hours. As A retired law enforcement Agent Recently A family member was at a function that involved music dancing and Some alcohol. This family member has a very lengthy medical history. Jay "Chip" was a phenomenal lawyer from start to end. The two most important things I want in a lawyer are reassurance and realism. You want your lawyer to express confidence that he/she can be of help to you. At the same time you want to them to be real with you so there are no surprises at the end. Chip laid out exactly what he thought he could achieve for me on day one and delivered every bit of that and more in the end. And that was even with a late curveball thrown by the prosecutor in the final week before our trial date. It was very noticeable how both the prosecutor and judge had a high level of familiarity and respect for Chip and it no doubt increased my chances of a favorable outcome.
