Excellent law firm. Very happy with results

This has to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced ! I’ve had 3 case workers with only one being good at her job and she was a supervisor. After not receiving return texts , phone calls , voicemails and complaining on multiple occasions regarding my first case worker the business FINALLY assigned a supervisor to my case. A very important paper was not filed on time and could have cost me a denial , the firm had to ask for a good faith filing because the first caseworker was incompetent at her job and they overlooked filing on time ( no surprise ). After having the supervisor assigned to my case things were much better until she moved on and then i was linked to ANOTHER incompetent case worker. They RARELY return calls, texts , messages left with secretary. You will have to call and ask to speak with a supervisor and then argue with her about why you are not receiving return calls and such. I’m assuming because they don’t get paid unless they win your case, they could care less about you and favor the folks that pay them up front. This is the worst business on planet earth and I’ve dealt with a lot of bad business over the years. If you choose to do business with this firm, all i can say is GOOD LUCK !!!! You would be better off taking a hammer and smashing your hand about 50 times. That would be less painful than dealing with these people !!!

I’ve waited a while to come here and voice my opinion but I do want to say that I don’t feel that these guys handled my case professionally or thoroughly. I felt very disconnected due to lack of communication and there was a general lack of professionalism from their assistants. I never once spoke to the owners or the head lawyers only assistants. Then when I’m sitting there for my works comp evaluation and the lady in my case decides to start acting surprised by my responses almost suggesting I say something else which maybe would have been better to communicate before we walked in. I was paid a stupid small amount for a huge injury, they suggested we take the first offer and these guys took 30% of it. Then once the case is almost decided your calls, your case, you concerns go to the back burner. Not a fan of these lawyers, so I’d greatly suggest, if you want the most from your case, a personalized and professional feel, to find a team that maybe isn’t handling so many cases.

I have been dealing with a Workmen’s comp case for 4.5 years now. And when I tell you Lisa is so persistent and communicative with me it’s amazing. I am so thankful for her and Shook and Stone I have felt like throwing in the towel a few times due to the stress and anxiety of all us this but she has assured me that I am in safe hands.

Shook and Stone stayed on top of things during my battle with Worker's Comp. I sustained an injury just before things shut down for the COVID crisis. Getting appointments with doctors, physical therapist, and more was a long, challenging, process. Like many other cases during COVID, it turned into a battle that went on for more than 3 years. All during that time, Lisa never gave up, even when i was ready to call it quits. Her follow-up and persistence with Worker's Comp, physicians, treatment, and especially me, is to be commended. She kept me on focused on the end goal. A big shout out to Lisa! Thank you for all you have done.

Every time I call the case worker she is never there and never returns my calls.
