Edited on 3/11/2024: Shortly after my review 6 months ago, the lawyer reached out to me and shared an email with the drive access from August 2021. This is 9 MONTHS PRIOR to the start of my case. I couldn't get a letter of certificate until my mom was admitted again since you need one from the most recent provider that evaluates the protected person. As someone who works in administration, I think it is best practice to remind your clients where the documents are stored and not assume they remember. Especially if there is such a large gap from the initial consult to the start of the case (9 months). They also asked me to remove my review because THEY THINK the review "does not accurately reflect the representation [I] received". However, this is my point of view and my opinion. I am sharing my opinion as a client to warn those who decide to work with this law firm. ------------------------------------------------------- I worked with Kristina Kirigin and unfortunately had a terrible experience. There was a lack of communication from the beginning. I was never spoken to or prepped before any hearing. The bill just kept racking up. After working with them after a while, I told Kristina my expectations and she stated that her only job was to get me the guardianship. She did that and yet staying on my case. The paralegal asked for the same documents over and over again. They also passed my case to another partner but did not tell me another person would represent me. All I have to say is I am happy I chose to stop working with this law firm and self-represent. Unfortunately, I made this decision after losing over $6k of legal fees. This is likely from communicating the same thing over and over again. Also, going to court over and over again due to their lack of communication and preparedness. Ex. I would submit something to them and they would not file it. Or, they would ask me to complete something the day or the Friday before the hearing. Only towards the end was the communication a little better with the other lawyer. By that time, I was already out $5k. ALSO, they assumed I had access to a shared drive which was NEVER given to me in the 10 months they represented me. So, the new lawyer who took over my case assumed I had access to this shared drive. More wasted time as I was in town and unable to complete what I needed to do that required me to be in person. Overall, I do not recommend this law firm. Their only interest is money and not helping their clients.

I needed help with my divorce process. After bad experience with a different law office, I got a recommendation for "Marathon Law Group". I scheduled a consultation with Mr. Boris and after a conversation with him, I already knew I made the right decision. He was very clear,detailed, and helpful. The paralegal that was assigned to me was Susanna, and I don't have enough words to explain how kind and patient she was with me. My case was not the easiest one, and she was walking me through it step by step. They resolved my issue in a very short time. Every time I had a question and reached out to the office over the phone, they were responsive and determined to help me, no matter who answered the phone. I will be forever grateful, and I wish them the best of luck in the future!!
