You would be hard pressed to find a more hardworking, dedicated, competent firm than this. All the way, top down, this firm has the best of the best. Their work speaks volumes but the way they handle their clients with compassion is what sets them apart. SDFS is simply the best.

Upon moving to the Vegas valley from out-of-state, my late mother-in-law engaged Brian Steadman of SDF&S to update her trust and other estate documents according to Nevada law. Brian Steadman and his paralegal Karna Gallegos did an excellent job on this, including bringing in an attorney from outside of their firm to discuss the trust's arrangements with Mom in private, to provide a testament to Mom being mentally competent when the trust was established; this would make challenging the trust after her death more difficult. Upon Mom's death, Brian and primarily Karna handled execution of Mom's trust, and distribution of her assets. Unfortunately, there was some acrimony and petty obstruction coming from out-of-state relatives. Karna shielded my wife and I from most of that. The fact that Mom's mental competency when establishing the trust had been tested helped substantially here. In summary, SDF&S and in particular Brian Steadman and Karna Gallegos did a great job of handling my mother-in-law's trust and estate both before and after her death. I give them my highest recommendation and 5 stars.

Karna was amazing, she made everything seamless and very easy. Communication was fantastic. Karna took care of everything and kept us informed. I can't say enough positive things regarding how Karna handled our case. Karna was there whenever I needed her. I would give Karna ten stars if it was possible. We worked with Brian Steadman and his paralegal Karna at this law firm revising my mom's trust and will for Nevada and then executing the trust/will after her passing last year at the age of 95. When meeting with us and my mom, both Karna and Brian treated her (she was in her 90s and very sharp) with the utmost respect and dignity not dismissing her as some befuddled old person which can often be the case. After her passing, Karna handled most of the work of executing the trust and distributing the assets. Although this was not a multi-million dollar estate and the will was quite clear and relatively simple, there was some difficulty with petty questions and complaints from relatives from out of state. Karna dealt with these with the utmost aplomb and saved my husband and myself from having to deal with the stress of these problems on top of the sorrow of losing my mom. She comforted us on our loss and handled everything and answered any questions we had on distribution of my mom's accounts from various entities promptly and efficiently. If it was possible to give Karna and Solomon Dwiggins Freer and Steadman (Brian Steadman was our attorney and also fabulous to work with) 10 stars we would gladly do so.
