I was on the strip and was talked into going to a timeshare presentation. I was told that it would only be 90 minutes. Four hours later l left owning a timeshare. I returned home and put all of the paperwork in my office. A week later I started reading through the contract and discovered that the salesperson did not tell me the truth. I needed a way out but the period to cancel had passed. I started to look for a local attorney that had experience with timeshare cases and ran across O’Grady Law Group. My initial phone consult with William O’Grady gave me confidence that I was not stuck. He reviewed my situation and determined that I had a good case. My case was settled in 6 months and it felt effortless. William O’Grady is a great lawyer and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. Went to a timeshare presentation and did not think they could convince me to buy but I did. I tried to cancel but it was past the cancellation period and I ended up stuck in the contract. I found out everything they told me was not true and I could not use the timeshare as it was sold to me. I looked for a law firm to help and found these guys. They were able to get me out of the contract. I would recommend them to anyone that is in the situation I was in.

I purchased a timeshare while on vacation in Florida. A couple of months after I returned per the salesman’s instructions I tried to book a vacation 10 months in advance. I could not find any availability for the weeks I wanted to travel. I called the timeshare company and they told me that I simply did not have enough points and that is why I was having trouble. I was told when I purchased the timeshare that the points I was purchasing were equal to a week in one of their timeshares. The representative told me that she could set up an appointment at one of their resorts in Las Vegas where I live. When I arrived, the front desk scheduled me for an Owners Update so that I could sit with someone who could explain how to use my points. I met with what I thought was a representative of the company that could educate me on how to use the timeshare. That person turned out to be a salesperson. He explained that I needed to be at a higher ownership level and then I could easily book at the resorts I wanted to stay at and when I wanted to stay. It was a large purchase and they had me apply for one of their credit cards for the down payment. I could use the credit card for normal purchases and earn “points” to help pay for the increase in maintenance fees. The sales person said it would be ok and everything would work out. I trusted him and believed that he could not possibly be lying to me. A month passed and I was having the same issues booking trips. Basically, I was lied to again and just ended up with a higher payment and a product that worked the same if at all. I tired to get in touch with the salesman but he was nowhere to be found when I called. I contacted several law firms and they either did not know what to do or they just wanted me to file bankruptcy. I have good credit and I wanted to keep it that way. I searched the internet and noticed several complimentary reviews for O’Grady Law. I clicked on the Better Business Bureau’s website and read what their past clients had to say. Feeling cautious because of what I had just been through I called the BBB and inquired. They had good things to say about the firm and that made me feel a little better. I called Mr. O’Grady to interview him about taking my case. He seemed to understand exactly what had happened to me and I felt better after talking to him. I decided to let him work on my case even though at this point I did not trust anyone. Without ever meeting him I hired him over the phone. The case took a year and I did not think that he would be successful. When he called me to explain that my case had been settled I almost cried. Like a load had been lifted from my chest. I had been blaming myself for a year over making a stupid decision twice and at that moment it felt like all had been fixed. I had to hire a law firm a couple of years back and the attorney I used was not the best. He did not respond when I had questions and did not seem to care about me. Mr. O’Grady made me feel like he cared and wanted me to have a positive outcome. I am thankful for all his hard work on my case but also for how calm he made me feel during the process which was not easy for me.

The salesperson was not truthful with me. I felt like I had been taken advantage of and there was no way out. It appeared that I just had to suck it up and pay on something that was difficult if not impossible to use. To make matters worse the following year my maintenance fees went up substantially. I started to search for a law firm in Las Vegas that could help. The law firms I called kept referring me to O’Grady Law Group so I called them. Their process of determining if my case would be good was very automated and easy. I could tell they had worked on cases of this nature many times. My initial contact was a very polite and patient woman (Mar) who explained the process and was very understanding. Once I had all of the requested items needed for my case to proceed Mr. O’Grady went right to work. He returned my emails and calls during the process and was very sympathetic. It took what seemed to be a long time but one day I opened my email and noticed that I had a message from Mr. O’Grady stating that my case had been positively resolved. It is difficult to explain how it felt to be out of the contract. In my search for resolution I found that the timeshare companies have all of the power and can force you to stay in their contracts forever even if you were not told the truth when you purchased it.

I had a great experience with O'Grady Law Group. They resolved my Timeshare case very quickly and were very efficient in the process. William and Len answered all my questions from the beginning and were always available when needed it. I have recommended a few people and they all seem very please with the service and final results.

I talk to a representative and told me I could send my info of the contract of the timeshare by taking picture of the contract. I submitted the images of the contract thru email. Got a response that they need it as PDF form. I submitted it as PDF form by email. Got a response that I need to submit it by fax. This company is very unprofessional. Will looks somewhere else to get the help I need and not waste my time.
