In December 2021 I received notice I was being sued for a charged off credit card account. After searching on Avvo, I contacted Kevin's office. We set up a consultation and I hired him to represent me and hopefully settle the balance due for less. Kevin and his paralegal, Ace, gathered information about my case. This was a little different as I had been with a debt assumption company that just stopped paying my creditors. Kevin discovered that prior debt assumption company had in fact hired a different attorney who had not repsonded on my behalf. We sorted that out and informed them that Kevin Hernandez was indeed representing me. He was able to get a settlement amount for less than the full amount owed and no additional interest nor the creditor attorney fees paid on my behalf. Within 2 week or so of this case being settled, I received a notification from another creditor that they were suing me. (This account was also in that same debt assumption program who stopped paying my creditors) I reached back out to Kevin, had a second consultation and hired him a second time to help me get this creditor debt settled. Within a few days he responded to me that he had received a settlement amount that would close this case! It was a similar outcome, no additional interest or attorney fees and a lesser amount than the debt total. Kevin and his team were very repsonsive to any questions I had and kept me notified of where we were at in the process.

Kevin was very articulate, down to earth, and easy to talk. I had an issue with the a doctor reporting my account to collections from a visit that I had over 5 years ago, due to insurance not covering the bill. Kevin negotiated with the collections agency and the doctor on my behalf. Within the day he significantly lowered my bill AND erased the negative report from my credit history. I 100% recommend Kevin’s services if you need help negotiating on your behalf. His staff was also very polite and professional. This was a great experience: 10/10.
