I was looking for a divorce attorney. I called Mr. Knauss and he was very informative and professional. He encouraged me to take some time to figure out what I really wanted and explained the possible outcomes. Since then my wife and I have reconciled, but if I am ever in the situation to need a divorce attorney, Mr. Knauss will be the first attorney I call.

I have dealt with many lawyers in the past and nothing can compare to Steven. I had a bad custody matter because of my ex who wanted to move to California. Steven got me custody of my kids and generous child support. I would not be with my kids today if it hadn’t been for Steven and his dedication to my family. He is very friendly and level-headed to a fault. And does not talk down to you like most lawyers do. He talks to you more like a friend. From the minute I spoke with Steven he was caring and insightful. It was an incredibly stressful process and he made it a lot easier. He promptly returned calls and emails, talked me off the ledge when I was stressed out, and does everything he says he’s going to do. He knows the law and he was always upfront with me, even if it was sometimes hard for me to hear. Steven is one of a kind. I would recommend him to anyone any day.

After being arrested for a DUI, I was nervous and scared. I didn't know what to do in court or the steps involved. After considerable research, I met with Steven and was immediately put at ease. I was very impressed with his argument in court and his professionalism and felt that the judge reduced my fines and my sentence because of Steven’s efforts. I have already recommended him to two other people and will continue to recommend him to anyone requiring the services of a defense attorney.

When my marriage ended, Steven helped me through the most difficult period of my life. It is clear that he understands that what occurs in the courtroom is only a small part of divorce. Steven is very practical and has a unique perspective that the other lawyers didn't have. We discussed the various ways I could protect myself and my children during the months that followed.
