When my husband and I started looking for a home, I asked around to find a lawyer to represent us. I reached out to Evan since my brother-in-law and his wife hired his firm when they purchased their home. Right off the bat, I was impressed with Evan because he was incredibly thorough in answering all of my questions. We hired them to represent us and they did not disappoint. Evan and his team (including his paralegals and Heather Aronson) were always friendly, professional, knowledgeable and prompt when it came to responding to our questions and concerns. We were very happy with their service and definitely recommend them.

We made an offer on a house which we anticipated would garner a lot of interest from other buyers. So, we needed to get our of attorney review as quickly as possible. Evan Pickus and his team were extremely diligent in providing the necessary tasks and documents for us to review and execute, and did so in a highly professional and expeditious mannner. We were out of attorney review essentially within 24 hours, which was quite an accomplishment. This was critical as other potential buyers started making offers above our agreed to price, so timing was of the essence. Evan and his team kept us up to date on all of the key dates. Also, whenever an issue came about from the seller's side, they explained the situation thoroughly and presented us with the options and offered their advice. This was helpful and ensured that we would continue to progress on schedule. The closing was the easisest that I have ever been a part of. They had everything ready to go for us to sign, explained each item whenever we had questions, and made efficient use of our time and theirs. As for post closing, they also provided a clear list of tasks for us to manage for the new home which was also very helpful. It was an enjoyable process. Their fees are extremely reasonable for the services that they provide. I will be using them once I sell my home, as well, as I wouldn't use anyone else. My sister used Evan too and was extremely pleased.

It was a new construction and Evan's team performed a thorough review of the contract during attorney review period building in clauses that helped us during and post closing. Even several years after closing they provided us expert legal advise on how to deal with our builder who was unwilling to fix issues related to our house. When Mom passed and I had to settle her will, Evan Pickus created the will, so that is whom I chose to help me execute it. Little did I know at the time just how much Evan had actually dealt with my Mom (in particular in her sickly years), and how much more I'd need Evan when family complications arose.
