I contacted this law firm and spoke with Joel Zelkowitz about my LTC insurance company refusing to pay my benefit when I became physically incapacitated. Because it was a relatively low amount, the firm couldn't take on my case. But Joel generously offered to read my policy and appeal letter, and gave me some valuable advice on how to proceed. Ultimately, my efforts resulted in a reversal of their denial, and I will be receiving the benefits I qualified for. I had initially gave this establishment a very poor review (which I never do) but only because the person who answered the phone on 2 occasions was pretty rude/nasty.
