I called the office of Levitt & Slafkes months before I went shared to file for bankruptcy. I spoke with Bruce Levitt. He went through the whole process of filing and what were my options. I decided to try to stick it out and try to repay my creditors but, only ended up deeper in debt. With a collection in process. I called him back and filed. It was a quick process and I felt comfortable with filing from all the information he gave me.

In early spring '24 I realized I was losing my fight with the foreclosure process and started researching lawyers. Bruce was the only lawyer that actually answered his phone. We talked. Bruce is just the least little bit brusk but as the conversation went on I became comforted by that. Bruce knows his stuff! There wasn't anything that Bruce laid out in that first conversation that didn't go precisely as he said. And therefore my wife and I were completely prepared for the process. He knew some clever little timing-turns that gave us far more time than expected. One day I called and Shelly answered. You figure out very quickly there's a Yin Yang thing going on here and its terrific. She too, really knows her stuff but her approach is gentle and kind. Two Great people and an adorable little doggy in the office! If you're in trouble call these two. I have not one negative thing to say. They're the Best.

Filing for Bankruptcy is obviously a very emotional experience. You are overwhelmed with your debt and probably your self esteem is at an all time low.
