Amy was there to protect me and inform me on all my rights, never once did i feel like the best outcome was not going to happen. Weinberg, Kaplan & Smith is an excellent law firm. Amy Smith handled my difficult case with grace, compassion and professionalism. Her receptionist, Courtney and assistant Paula were always very professional and considerate as well. I would highly recommend her for any family law need. LETS JOIN FORCES TO ADDRESS AMY SMITH'S INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT AND HAVE HER DISBARRED Interesting response by the firm: First, if firm read my post carefully - which I am sure as attorneys they did - I said "exposed", not client, certainly sufficient to collect many evidentiary correspondences that corroborate Mrs. Smith false statements to the judge and third parties, non-sensical statement, behavior that drives up cost, defamatory statements and so forth; Secondly, Mrs. Smith already knew I had not been her client just after the post when she had me asked to remove it, hence "upon review, we did did not find any record..." is rather disingenuous, but then again this is just who they are; Was exposed to Ms Smith Unethical, dishonest driving up cost agree with additional negative review entirely Will take legal action Mrs. Smith had me asked to remove my negative review in a primitive attempt to curtail my fist amendment right- notably doing so as an attorney; Dear Mrs. Smith: reviews are just that, they may not be manipulated, solicited or distorted as they are not advertisement for a law firm and the public may not be mislead; Not going into too much detail here to allow the upcoming NJ bar association ethics review to play out properly, misrepresentation to a judge, making many false statement - some defamatory- is neither professional nor is it ethical nor becoming of a legal professional; there is also a broader concern about her knowledge in attempting to perpetrate fraud (although attorneys are usually quick to blame their clients and wash their hands with these types of issues but ought to be held to account like any other profession; this will all play out in future legal proceedings, however); I completely agree with one of below reviews regarding experience with filing motions that very credibly outlines how Mrs. Smith drives up costs to line her pockets; unfortunately, the bar association does not do a very good job in policing its profession (and why do attorneys not even have to re-take the bar, like doctors have to retake their exams every year to re-certify?); this may well be why this profession has more negative outliers than any other; when I asked a very renowned NJ divorce attorney about this firm I got the "oh my god" response three times in a row (and this was certainly not an expression of admiration); this firm seems to be known for its shady practices;

Dana Bookbinder is knowledgeable, experienced and responsive. She actually listens to what you are looking for and guides you with her expertise. She explained better options and took a sincere interest in my needs. Highly recommend.

Ms. Douglass helped me through what should have been a straight forward issue. Ms. Douglass was very accessible throughout this difficult time! I would definitely recommend!

Everyone at this law firm is incredibly compassionate, caring and empathetic. They all go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and heard.
